La zona del patrimonio histórico portuario entre restaurantes y algunos inmuebles históricos y en invierno el gélido viento de la bahía.

Great waking tour! Stuart, our guide provided great information and an excellent overview that included both a historic and contemporary of the city. Stuart was knowledgeable and informative. The perfect orientation to Baltimore!

I want to give this tour zero stars.
This tour is a guided walking tour through Fells Point.
I listened to random statements about things we looked at in Fells Point and across the city.
Robert Long house: he was a merchant and married up; he's listed as a gentleman in the next census.
Formstone: it covers brick; it is now illegal.
Partway through the tour I told the Urban Park Ranger that the history of black people, especially the important contributions of enslaved black people were absent from the tour. "We don't have documents about that." My eyes grew wide with surprise. The ranger continued, "it's really hard to get an intern." I mentioned that enslaved people left written records of their lives. "They didn't have written languages if Africa." Again me and shocked face. "Did they?"
I wanted to cry. I felt disappointed and sad and disgusted.
I feel awful. I wanted the tour to end.

Cities are better when you understand their history and significance. I had a great personal tour with Andy S. who gave me this great experience. He knew a lot and gave me a place to eat lunch. (Great food!) It was casual, at our own pace, and interesting.
Thanks Andy!

We really enjoyed Monty who gave us the Heritage Walk Tour. He was just chock full of information, you could ask him any question and he would have the answers. I feel like I have fairly good understanding of Baltimore history, thanks to Monty. Definitely do the tour!

We hadn't done any pre-planning when we visited Baltimore. We knew there was LOTS of water close by, so we were expecting the normal "harbour" kind of scenes. The Heritage area was therefore quite a surprise - but a very enjoyable one! We were there in early summer, so it wasn't too crowded (I would expect it is packed mid-summer.) We were disappointed that we could not get onto the historical ships (timing issue), but enjoyed going into the Barnes bookstore and looking up the old ancient chimneys.

My wife and I wanted to get quick but thorough overview of our first time visit to Baltimore. We booked this tour in advance due to its reasonable price and positive tripadvisor reviews - we were not disappointed.
Our Urban Ranger was Andy S. and his enthusiasm was infectious. We had trouble keeping pace with him as the stories he shared weren't just stuffy textbook facts - but more genuinely - the types of anecdotes that made Baltimore the quirky place it is. The renaissance of the Inner Harbor and its continued development have more than earned moniker "Charm City".
As we ended the tour in Little Italy, Andy revealed his personal connection with the neighborhood as we learned about Mayor D'Alesandro and his famous daughter. A lifelong Baltimoreon, Andy was obviously proud of his heritage. If his sincerity is in any way indicative of the populace as whole - we were jealous not to be a permanent part of it as well. WELL DONE ANDY!!!

There are lots of things to do in this area. Sightseeing and touring are the biggies. There is a pop-up farmer’s market. Lots of restaurants abound. The architecture is of particular interest as well.

If you like history, Fort McHenry is nice. If you like baseball, then you must visit Oriole Park at Camden Yards. There are tours available for both, but call ahead to find out when.
