Long journey from Seoul ,spend around 3hrs on the island with lunch in 1 of the restaurant. Didn't walk much but have a great time with my teens. Doing BBQ marshmallows in the DRIZZLE rain .

Vor Ort war ich mit meinem Partner (Koreaner)und einer Freundin. Es war ein sehr schönes Erlebnis, die Ruhe genießen, Energie auffüllen und essen schmecken lassen. Auf dieser Insel kann man Stunden zubringen. Leute und Kultur kennen lernen. Viele schöne Fotos machen und Filmszenen sehen von K Dramas. Alles in allem wunderbar. Auch in verschiedenen Jahreszeiten sehenswert da die Farben der Bäume ein Traum sind ob zur Kirschblüte oder im Herbst.

It's beautiful, there are some rabbits and squirrels running around. You'll need to take quick ferry trip to reach the island. Me and my wife went to the NAMI last September. We wished we could have visited mid October to see the full beauty of autumn surrounding the island. It was a good visit though it rained mid day. There are picture spots for the notable KDrama that filmed on the island ages ago. Lodging, restaurants and bike rentals are available for visitors.

We joined the Nami Island tour and it's quite a rushed experience for us. The island has lots of activities like biking, performance and little cafes for lounging and quiet time. Most likely you will need at least half a day to cover this place. The place is beaming with tourists at every corner so it's hard if you're looking to take photos without people. I enjoy the scenic ferry ride to the place the most.

It was a small island with a lovely scenery. I noticed so many SEA visitors. I visited here at winter I heard the scenery will change in every season.

Lovely scenery, lots of facilities, beautiful overall. It is quite small though frankly, we spent 1.5h there and that was enough!
Accessible easily by ferry, journey itself from the mainland only 5 minutes
If you’re there, I would definitely recommend trying the Hotteok at Sonata Cafe - it was warm and absolutely delicious! Of note though, it does contain pine nuts.

It's like a fairy tale come true! It's this dreamy island with trees that change colors in different seasons. You can walk or rent a bike and feel like you're in a storybook. There's yummy food too, and the air is so fresh. If you're up for some magic and nature vibes, Nami Island is where it's at! 🌳🍂🚴♂️

If you are a follower with K-drama, then this place is familiar to you. I love the avenue of trees, it's picture perfect if you can get a time where no one is around but fat chance. Would you miss it if you don't have the time, NO. There is nothing here if you have been to other picturesque sites

It was in April of 2023. We were hoping to catch the last full show of the cherry blossoms. Alas, our amiable tour guide told us we were a bit late. However, lady luck was with us. At Nari republic there was a tree with cherry blossoms in its full glory. It was in a hidden part of the park. So lovely. Hope to back in the near future.

We took a 3 stops day tour which includes Nami island. And after visiting, we realized that 3 hours is really insufficient as although this is a small island, there is so much to do here and you could easily spend a full day here visiting libraries, eateries, museums, rides, cycling, visit k drama filming locations, etc. lots of photo opportunities. We will be back next time for a proper visit. Oh yea, as it gets cold during winter, there are several outdoor fire places where you can warm yourselves up. Really thoughtful!

There are some street food kiosks. I think cafes as well. We only had 2 hours on the island so food wasn’t a top priority. However as we were there during winter, we were pleasantly surprised that there are outdoor fire place for you to warm yourself.

Unfortunately, I've not been to Nami on Christmas day.
However, I believe if u reach the island by 10am or earlier, it should not be crowded. That's the time I arrived and it was fantastic till the crowd swarmed the island. Hope this helps.

I would say no. Because of global warming, there's rarely snow in most parts of Korea; even in the most high season places. It rarely snow in recent years.

It’s easiest and convenient to take their bus shuttle service that picks you up from central areas and drops you off at the ferry entrance. tripadvisor does not allow me to post the link. But you can google “how to get to nami island” and check their website at namisum
Or book a day tour with Klook or Trazy to explore with other attractions around that Gapyeong area.
