Kell's has a great ambiance, awesome service, and delicious food and drinks. We enjoyed dinner here very much. We didn't experience any paranormal activities during our visit but there's always next time.

Great bar near pike market. Showing sports. Live music. Guinness on tap. Reasonable prices although still expensive and as a Brit, dont get tax added everything.

Went to watch Ireland play South Africa in the rugby world cup. Lovely old pub with 2 distinct rooms and an upstairs area. Pictures on the wall are wonderful, Service was slow but friendly due to a packed crowd. Food available. Limited selection of beers. Atmosphere excellent.

We went in for lunch. I ordered the wings & Fish and Chips. The wings were very good, BUT got only FIVE WINGS FOR $17 !!!...The fish was over cooked, NOT TASTEY ! I asked if the onion rings were frozen or homemade. The bartender told me they made the Rings ...WRONG; THEY WERE OBVIOUSLY FROZEN !!!...HATE BEING LIED TO !!!

We were a party of 9. We called and they said they could take us which was good. The menu looks good online. We walked in and we were seated. It was very warm. We sat on the left side with the bar. They put two tables together for us that were not the same height which was a little annoying. The server came over and gave us paper menus because it was so dark in there you could not read the menu well on your phone. We did not drink any beer which seems to be very popular here. We ordered appetizers which were OK. We had to keep asking the waitress for things. She brings a table of 9 three apps and no side plates, by the time we got them we were done with the apps. We asked for a water refill and it took forever to get it. I think she had tables on both sides of the restaurant and outside. How is a waitress supposed to give good service when she has tables all over the restaurant. The dinner came and some items had fries. There was no salt or pepper on any tables and she did not bring ketchup. So we had to ask for that also. I ordered diet soda with lemon, she forgets the lemon, so I have to go to the bar to get lemons. I also asked to get the AC turned lower as it was very warm in there, I don't think anything was ever done as it never got cooler. There is a quinoa bowl on the paper menu that is not on the online menu. When we asked what was in it we were told the quinoa and carrots and olives. Does that sound appetizing to you? Me either. Our app plates were not removed from our tables until the entrees came, so when she had to put our entrees down she had to take the other plates out of the way if you had one. The food was pretty average. The ceasar salad was very over dressed and tasted like mayo nothing more, no lemon no garlic in it. I had shepards pie, the portion was very small. That's why the prices are low. We also had the soda bread. Now we get irish soda bread for st. patricks day every year. This was not soda bread, it tasted like rye bread nothing more. Thinly sliced, that is not soda bread. So we finished our meals and she brings the check puts it down. Doesn't offer dessert or anything after. Then on top of that she puts on an 18% service charge which is not mentioned on the menu or website that they put auto services charges on for large parties. Good thing it was only 18%. We would have left less as the services was well sub standard. This place goes down as a skip for all of us.

Food was okay. We stopped in for an early lunch on Sunday.
The breakfast of bangers, eggs, potato pancakes and home fries was okay. Hard to justify its $15 price tag though. Nothing in the breakfast really stood out as memorable or worth the visit.
The beet salad was okay but the beet chucks were quite large. The beets are not pickled so just be aware when you order. Overall--it was just okay.
Our one standout were the meat pastries stuffed with corned beef and beef. Those were quite good.
Nice atmosphere and it is very close to the market. This is definitely a tourist location--not many locals in sight when we were there.

I stopped by here one evening while waiting for my wife and daughter who were at a concert. I was glad I did. Since it was later on in the evening, there was plenty of parking at the Pike Place Market, which was nice. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed and the service was good. I had the shepherd's pie, which was excellent. The also had a very good selection of beer and some interesting cocktails. I would definitely go back.

I thought that this Irish Pub was located in Pike Place Market, but when we couldn't find it, I had to ask for directions. We found it just a block or so from the market on Post Alley.
My husband and I opted to sit outside in the patio instead of the dark interior of the pub. We were in Seattle during the heat wave in June, but we got a little relief from the sun because of the patio umbrellas. It was disappointing that there was no view here. We waited quite a while waiting for our waitress to take our orders.
My husband tried an Irish beer, and I got a very watery lemonade. We shared a bowl of "Irish Clam Chowder" which was not thick, but it was thin and milky. The clams were rubbery and chewy. The chowder was topped with chopped parsley and contained chunks of red potatoes. I ordered corned beef and cabbage which came with mashed potatoes and gravy. The corned beef was tender but flavorless, as was the cabbage, not even a hint of salt and pepper. I'm used to my Hungarian mother's more flavorful recipe. My husband said that his Shepard's Pie was just average. We did enjoy the grainy wheat bread with butter than came with our meals.
There is sort of a vibe here which I can't explain. Maybe it's because of the local history. The best thing about coming here was that a total stranger paid for our lunch which was probably around $40.

If you are looking for a traditional Irish Pub, I would look somewhere else. My husband and I were super excited to try this place out while we were in Seattle. We’ve traveled to Ireland multiple times and love the pubs there so much. When we first got there, we were seated inside and there were only 2 other tables inside with customers. (There were about 5 tables of customers on the patio though). We waited over 30 minutes for someone to come to our table and ask what we would like to drink. When we finally got our beers about 20 minutes later, I was given the wrong beer. We sat there a good while longer waiting for the waitress to come back. Another 30 minutes went by before a woman came to our table asking how everything was. This happened to be the owners mother Ethna who was very sweet and attentive. She got someone to come over right away to take our order and even sat with us and talked a bit. If it weren’t for her, I don’t think anyone would have ever came to take our order. The customer service here is terrible and it’s so unfortunate because it could be a really great place.

If your in the mood for a good draft beer or cider (exclusively made from Kells), then it’s the perfect Irish bar for you. If you want a good aged Irish whiskey or Scotch, they definitely won’t disappoint. Outside seating on a nice summer day, 100% non-disappointing. Try it out! A hop and skip away from Pike Market, so have a seat and take a load off.....
