The driver was speeding through a parking lot, drove on the opposing side of the road to avoid a stop sign to almost hit my pregnant wife and another car.

I had been, but will no longer be a customer. Both the website and the phone agent quoted me the same price to go from SEATAC to my home zipcode. When I asked to verify the rate at the airport, both the cab driver and the cab "assigner" quoted and presented a rate sheet that was a higher price. Later, when I called the company and spoke to a "manager" to complain about the lack of uniform pricing/accurate information, the agent just simply blew me off. I attempted to explain that I was not concerned about the dollars difference, I was concerned about the principal. The "manager" was rude and mocking. I will never use again.

We had had problems with short trip out of Sea-Tac Airport. We live only 3 miles from the airport. This time, the first taxi driver just ignored us and looked the other way when we told his address. He just waved at the next passengers and asked them where they want to go. Being bypassed, we tried the next driver waiting. He looked with a grim look then reluctantly took us. He was obviously unhappy but still pleasant. He explained that after waiting for 2 hrs, we cannot make a living with just short trips. The system whereby the driver who gets short trips get to skip the wait has been abolished months ago, that's what he told us. The trip usually cost only $13 as opposed to going to downtown Seattle at about $50. Next time we will take Uber at the airport because they now allow "skip the line" for short trips.

Note: Eastside For Hire and Flat Rate For Hire are the same business, with different colored cars. The ones under the Flat Rate For Hire umbrella have yellow and light blue cars. The Eastside For Hire cars are red and green.
On Monday, 3/5/18, at about 10:20 or 10:25 pm, my husband and I got in a yellow and blue flat rate minivan taxi at the taxi stand. Our driver (small black man with close-cropped hair and good English with a bit of an accent) stacked our bags in the front passenger seat, waved to a woman on the side, then promptly asked us how long it was going to take to get to our home, because he "needed" to be back in 20 minutes. We told him it was about 10 minutes each way, and he sped off at a high rate of speed, driving very aggressively.
The driver ignored my directions, and blamed me when he took a wrong turn, then continued to ignore my directions, driving recklessly. His van had virtually no shocks, and his driving knocked us around quite a bit.
When we pulled into the alley where our driveway is behind the house in Burien (98166), my husband got our bags out of the front seat, and we asked the driver what our fare was. He told us, $25. My husband and I both said, "what? It's always about $15, never $25!" He insisted it was $25. I challenged him again, and he pointed to the "flat rate" wording on the side of the van and said "we're not like other cab companies, we're flat rate, and the rate is $25!" I said "SHOW ME," and he pulled out a laminated rate sheet. I pointed to Burien (98166) and the $15 rate next to it, and he exploded, ripping the rate sheet out of my hands, shouting "pay me whatever you want, then!" and then slammed the door of his van getting in, and performing about a 9-point turn in the alley, with brakes squealing and kicking up gravel, before he came back to where we were standing.
My husband, against my protests, got out his wallet and approached the van from the passenger side, saying "Here's your $25," and handed the driver $25 in cash. The driver said nothing, took the money, and kicked up more gravel as he sped down our alley, at about 10:35 pm. My husband stated that the driver knew where we lived, and my husband was concerned that if we did not pay the driver what he asked, he would come seek retribution...
We were unable to see either a license plate number or a cab number because the alley was not lit, but I promptly went in the house and called the cab company. The dispatcher provided me with a number (206-971-0559) for the company's superintendent and complaint-handler, named Munir, and said that Munir worked 9 am-5 pm.
This morning (3/7/18) I left a voicemail for Munir at 9 am asking him to call me back. At 2 pm, I tried him again, and reached him. Munir stated that because I hadn't left a cab number in my voicemail, he hadn't been planning to call me back.
During the course of the conversation, despite all of the detailed information that I provided, and despite the fact that the company only had 20-40 vans in its fleet, Munir refused to help me, and actually interrupted me and yelled at me at length for complaining, and blamed me for not calling the police or seeing the cab number or license plate in the dark. I hung up on him while he continued to shout at me.
I will NEVER use this cab company again, and will definitely warn my friends never to use them either, because their drivers may choose to cheat them and the company only blames the passengers. I have urged the Port of Seattle and BBB to look into this company's practices and end their SeaTac Airport contract because of dishonest and unsafe practices.
In the future, we will use Uber/Lyft or friends/family for airport lifts.

Driver was flying at 80 mph on the road. Would constantly let go one hand off the wheel (at that speed!) and put it out the window for some unknown reason. Car interior was in bad condition and smelly. Plus the obvious drawback: it costed more than a Lyft/Uber ride. But what I didn't expect was such poorer experience!

Taxi seemed mechanically OK (recent Uber ride to airport was a scary trip in a car that vibrated terribly), but, was stuffy and smelly inside......we have used Eastside a bunch of times last few years; seems like quality of drivers is deteriorating!

I pre-arranged pick up by Eastside at airport with transit to Pike Place, and a week later, pick up at Pier 66 with transit to airport. All went smoothly and pick up was timely. Transit is by UBER, which I had not known, which means vehicles can be of all quality types. Both drivers were a little pushy about wanting a tip, though UBER says tipping is not necessary. I paid bill by credit card and tipped in cash, which seemed to annoy them as they would like large tip signed into card. Nonetheless, the overall experience was fine and I would use the company again.

We arrived at SeaTac Airport at 9pm on American Airlines and made our way to the arrivals area at Door 22 Zone 1 at the arrivals level. Contacted dispatch and provided my name and our cell number. We waited outside and we received a call from the driver. Driver in taxi #2289 waived us over and placed our luggage in his trunk and pulled away. Our first impression of the taxi was that it smelled and we opened the windows. Leaving the terminal he asked my name and realized he made a mistake and we were not his fare and he was going to drive us back to the arrivals area. We asked him to contact dispatch and have them dispatch another driver for his original fare. He refused and was argumentative like it was our mistake!
My wife called the driver that initially called us and let him know we were coming back to arrivals and please wait. As you can imagine after flying all day we were annoyed but the driver was angry and argumentative. When I was getting my luggage from his trunk to put into our waiting taxi he tried to slam the trunk on my hands in frustration. He is lucky I didn't call the police over as they were in close proximity. When we got into our original taxi #2591 he couldn't understand me when I provided our address and asked us to type it into his GPS. Ironic. When we arrived at our destination ZIP 98052 we were overcharged by $9 dollars (rates on their Web site http://eastsideforhire.net/rates from SeaTac are $45 dollars)and we were charged $54 dollars. We have used this service many times but will not be using it again as both drivers could barely speak English and were not polite or accommodating.
