They didn’t show up for my flight, which was on time. VERY DISAPPOINTING. It was late night arrival ….. tiered and frustrating

We used BAC Transportation during our recent visit to Alaska, on three separate occasions. For two days we had a private driver for the entire day, and the third was a two hour transfer. All three situations were amazing, from the staff who answered to the phones to the drivers themselves. For the two full days our driver was Sylvester, and he went above and beyond to make our journey enjoyable, and was accommodating to our needs. He was much more than a driver, as he made many scenic stops along with way. For the 2 hour transfer we had Barbara, who was equally as amazing, and made a stop along where we took a photo we will be using for our Holiday card. I would highly recommend BAC for any transportation needs throughout Alaska. They took a lot of the stress off, and made our family vacation more memorable by being part of it.

After 36 hours in airports and planes, I landed in Anchorage at 2:30 a.m. It was snowing, and I had to get way up on the hillside. First a lovely BAC wheelchair driver named Susan met me at the plane, wangled my two big suitcases off the luggage belt, and delivered me to JR, the kind and skillful driver who brought me all the way up the windy hillside roads and down a potentially dicey driveway to home. He made sure my luggage and I were safely inside before he left. I could not have asked for better, kinder care - and they were both delightful people, as well. Thank you, BAC!

Rented a limo bus from our cruise final port - for our family of 13 including 2 small children. Due to flight timing we needed to drop the bags at the Anchorage airport and go 10 minutes to town. Company assured me this could all be done in two hours. We were waiting when the driver who was very nice and professional and pleasant arrived 15 minutes early so we were able to get an early start. Even with the early start we arrived to the airport and dropped our bags with only 5 minutes to spare our our scheduled end time. The drive into anchorage is 15 minutes so the driver said the office would not go over any time. When I called and explained that we would be 10 minutes over they would not allow the driver to take us to town on his way back (office is in anchorage) and they said it would be an additional $250 to be dropped off as promised for the 10 additional minutes on his way back to the office. Completely unreasonable and unwavering with a “got ya” attitude? We took two uber vans (no luggage) for $20 total! We actually released our bus 5 minutes early - I should have charged them $125 I guess. But it was a big hassle that could have resorted to a much different post - for 10 minutes NOT OUT OF THEIR WAY and consistent with their promise. Good thing we got the driver to leave early- they do this trip every day so I was relying on them and it wasn’t our fault or the drivers that it took 10 minutes longer

Cheryl our driver was fun, informative and a great driver. We appreciated her very much! She was great with my nine year old kid! The car was spotless.

Took a black car to treat my mom to a dinner at Sullivans. Driver was professional, car was extremely clean, price was right and it was great to get door to door service!

We arrived in Anchorage, AK and started exiting the plane only to find our BAC chauffeur standing in the JetWay with a sign and our name on it. He greeted us and took us straight out the door and down the stairs to a waiting vehicle that was just for us. What an AMAZING experience that was. The chauffeur Lorenzo was perfect. Made sure we were settled, offered us water and explained the behind the scenes at the airport as he took us to get our bags. Once we had our bags we were on the way to our hotel. The service was 1st class all of the way. Great job BAC Transportation. If and when we return or if anyone asks us who to use in Alaska you will get out vote! Thank you for the memories!

We had a half day left in our trip in Alaska with nothing planned. So we decided to visit the Alaska wild life conservation center but had no car. We needed last minute transportation and BAC worked with us and I felt they gave us their standard hourly rate despite our last minute request. The driver was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He made sure we got back to the airport on time. Even thought gratuity was included (which is a nice feature), the service was so good, I gave the driver extra.

Charlie is the President and CEO of the company and he drove my group to several locations in Anchorage and other cities in Alaska. He was the best tour guide a tourist could ask for besides always being on time, he told us the history of each location were drove too, there was always cold refreshments waiting for us when we returned to the bus. He arranged private chartered flights for those who wanted more of the Alaskan adventures in remote mountain or glacier area. BAC is the Alaskan Uber but much better!
It was so refreshing to see someone take pride in the service he provided to each his riders!
If you need a car for hire this is the only way to go!!

Charlie Grimm our CEO and “Fearless Leader” is undoubtably the greatest tour guide you could ask for. So unique the CEO will often personally provide services without ever saying he is the CEO just because he truly loves to provide service to our guests. 18 years running and he still drives personally!
