This campus really doesn't stand out in any particular way. Like most campuses, it's not really a travel destination. There are some facilities (campus museums) open to the public, but not really worth the hassel of getting there and parking.

When the college was not in session the museums and exhibits were not open at all. The only bright point was that we saw the bricked outline Memorial of the Arizona that was sunk at Pearl Harbor and the impressive list of fatalities. They knew all their names; they are not forgotten.

I love to hangout at the U of A a lot. It's a great place to chill and relax with family or by myself. There're have the restaurants and café to hangout. I really love to hangout at Starbucks and then walk around the U of A park.

As a Canadian, seeing these huge US universities and their stadia and sport facilities is just so interesting. We just drove around, and it is a very nice campus.

Biked through campus....since cars can only go so far. Beautiful grounds...check out the monument to the USS Arizona.....and the tracing of the ship.... the state museum is just inside the front gates, but is closed due covid.

love the u of a. i suppose you can refer tucson as a, "college town". it's a little down right now with the covid-19 but i still love this place. if you haven't checked it out, then you should!

I haven't been back since I graduated in '93. Clearly they have put a fair amount of money into beatifying the campus. It was a wonderful visit!

We were enjoying the University of Arizona. We were walking and enjoying the views.
There were many plants and cacti.
We could not be lost. There were indications where we want to go.
There was also street car as well.
I liked the statue of lions on the campus. Wow It roars.
The buildings were very attractive.

I am going to a U of A football game, but parking information isn't really good. I am not opposed to paying, but would rather have a shuttle than walk a lot. I don't need to tailgate. Any good options out there?

There are many parking structures on the campus and a few just off campus with a short walk.
What is a nice neighborhood or neighborhoods near the University what I could purchase a townhouse that could be rented to students?

We lived for years in Tucson; I was at UA for six years. I happens that my BEST friend is a retires real estate broker. She can point you in the right direction! Yes, particularly on the west side of campus. This is the oldest part of the UA, and there are a number of eating places and shops there (it's called the University Square area). The AZ Hstorical Society (museum) and the Arizona State Museum (natural history) are both located in that area, too.

Hello: Yes there is a fee for parking. Some Parking lots are free during the weekends and/ or if any special function is going on campus. The students buy their Parking Lot Tickets each semester.

The brunch is called the Bon Voyage Brunch which is held on the Saturday before school starts. If this is what you are asking, then the cost in 2014 was $20 pp. If this is not what you are looking for, then you can visit the University's website and search under Parent and Family for information on a Sunday brunch (which I do not know what that would be for). I hope this information helps you and good luck.
