Visita guidata gratuita resa particolarmente interessante dalle esaustive spiegazioni di Nicoletta, appassionata e molto preparata, un vero piacere ascoltarla. Auspicabile l' introduzione della degustazione in loco.... degustazione che attualmente è disponibile solo pranzando, con 75-90 € (🫤), nel vicino ristorante Bacco.

Vini buonissimi ma non si può fare la degustazione in cantina. Il punto vendita e’ grosso come una scatola, apre in ritardo e non ha neanche i suoi vini. Da migliorare tutto

We had a very special tour of the winery with Rita. The cave was incredible and the love story behind the start of this winery is so romantic. Rita really made our tour enjoyable. The tasting with lunch at at the restaurant was the highlight of our trip. The delicious food was perfectly paired with the excellent wines. Such a memorable experience.

We really enjoyed our tour. There were 6 of us on a girls trip. It was the perfect duration and the lunch with the wine pairing was a lovely way to end it. Rita was amazing, such a natural guide and she made it very interesting and enjoyable. We would highly recommend.

Bottaia scavata a mano bellissima.
Vini ottimi, ma assaggiati solo al ristorante, perché la struttura non prevede nessun tipo di degustazione.
Si compra solo alla cieca o attraverso degustazioni a pagamento presso strutture convenzionate: un vero peccato per chi, come me, arriva da lontano e non vorrebbe comprare dei vini bianchi e rossi da oltre 10-15€ alla cieca.

We loved our tour and wine tasting! Rita was such a good tour guide and super friendly. The wine was DELICIOUS! But just so you know it's not so much a tasting as they give you 5 full glasses of wine lol! We were super drunk by the end but hey, what a bang for your buck! Loved it, definitely recommend! And furore is beautiful!

Mio marito (sommelier) ha prenotato un tour della barricaia e della vigna. I proprietari sono stati super disponibili e gentili. Il sig. Alfonso e la sig. Marisa ci ha illustrato tutto in modo dettagliato un territorio secolare e le sue tradizioni che da salernitana non conoscevo. Ne siamo rimastiestasiati sia io che mio marito.

Buongiorno siamo partiti da Sorrento, dove alloggiamo in vacanza, e con circa 1 ora di macchina di un impegnativo percorso siamo arrivati a FURORE alla cantina di Marisa Cuomo.Abbiamo prenotato via internet. Il tour ha avuto inizio con l’accoglienza di Alfonso e successivamente dalla titolare Marisa ( molto alla mano e disponibile alle domande )
Partiamo dalle porte esterne della cantina con successivo accesso all’area di produzione fino ad arrivare nel cuore dell’azienda, ovvero nella suggestiva bottaia scavata a mano e finita negli anni 2000, dove i vini più pregiati restano in affinamento. Le due date 1942 fondazione dell'azienda e 1983 acquisto della famiglia Cuomo ( impresse nei due portoni d'ingresso-uscita).
Il tour guidato si è concluso con la visita a un vigneto adiacente alle cantine, raggiungibile a piedi in meno di 2 minuti, dove sempre Alfonso ci ha fatto conoscere ed apprezzare l’unicità del tradizionale sistema di allevamento delle viti ultracentenarie di Furore oltre che godere di un panorama vista mare straordinario.
Abbiamo comprato nello shop le bottiglie di Costa d'Amalfi/Ravello/ Furore e Fiorduva, era un occasione d'oro!
Attraversando la strada alle 19.30 abbiamo cenato presso il ristorante “Hostaria di Bacco”, locale vista mare, come conclusione della visita con una cena degustazione con il menù in abbinamento a 3 bianchi Ravello/Furore e Fiorduva.
Visita e cena da 10 e lode. Vi consigliamo entrambi e ci torneremo per vedere la nuova cantina ad Agerola pronta (speriamo)nel 2022!

We were asked by some friends two bottles of wine, the most expensive I believe, the Fiorduva Bianco and a red one, I believe a riserva as well.
We asked them for two boxes as the bottles were for a gift, they charged us for the boxes (very nice, in wood with the winery logo hot stamped) the price wasn't high but after we paid nearly 90euros they could have given us the boxes for free after spending that much.
As we live in Provence we asked to do a wine tasting to see what was special about these wines, we were told that we needed to book a tasting tour which I understand from others reviews that this must be done in combination with a dinner or lunch somewhere they have a convention with.
We come from a place with hundreds of Chateau where you just pop in and try all wines they have (for free). Unfortunately, we believe this tasting tour is just a rip-off money and as for our experience, it pushed us away from buying extra bottles which we could have done with a simple wine tasting.

Sorry for not answering earlier. I just saw your question regarding Marisa Cuomo winery. (we visited there in 2017). If you still need information I will tell you: You can take a ferry from Salerno to Amalfi and take a Sita bus to the town of Furore.(I think it will stop at the winery on request) You will need a reservation for tasting/tour/lunch at the winery. You can do that online thru their website. Just google search Cantine Marisa Cuomo and it should come right up. It was a highlight of our trip in 2017 so hope it has worked out for you already or that you will be able to do so when visiting Salerno.

You can take a Sita bus to Amalfi & transfer to the Agerola bus which goes by Furore and the winery on the way. I would recommend the ferry from Positano to make your connection to the Agerola bus as the Sita buses are very crowded during tourist season. I have seen other people say they had someone from the winery pick them up in Positano and drive them to the winery. I would ask about that. You can email questions through their website. Another option to consider is to rent a Vespa for the day and take in all the views of the Amalfi coast along the way and back. We did that from Minori & the ride there & tour/tasting at the winery gave us one of our favorite memories of our 3 week trip~ Salute

hi! I drove from Sorrento all through the coast on a rented car. I didn't se any public transportation though, so I can't really recommend any other transportation that isn't a rental. Sorry! hope this helps
