El lugar es ideal porque es a poca distancia de San Jose, pero le falta mucho mantenimiento , la intraestructura le falta pintura, cambiar puertas etc

We were coming from Santa Elena, going back to San Jose. I wanted a beach to go to but didn't want to drive hours further South for a prettier one. This sufficed. Public beach you pay to enter. Has armed guards for some reason. It was a Monday so just a few other families there that looked to be locals. There are plenty of picnic tables, sand is dark and the waves are small. Capuchin monkeys were a nuisance! One stole a bag of chips out of my hands and took off. After about 90 minutes of all families chasing monkeys off, they left us alone.

Bellissima spiaggia, parzialmente attrezzata. Si raggiunge tramite una comoda scaletta. A due passi dal centro abitato.

We stopped at this beach on our drive from San Jose to Lake Arenal and we were not disappointed. I was cautious about where I wanted to stop on the 3.5hr drive because we had all our luggage in the back of the SUV, but this beach was a great choice. Not only does it have active guards working the parking lot, but also patrolling the beach as well. The entrance fees are worth the peace of mind. The guard patrolling the beach was kind enough to ensure we saw the monkeys that live there as well. It is a local beach so wasn't at all crowded (this could be different during peak season) the water was warm and the sand soft. They have well equipped changing rooms, showers, and bathrooms. The restaurant on the beach was AMAZING and the service 5-stars. There are areas the barbecue and post up for the day if you so choose. It is easy to find which is always a plus!

Nice beach. The best part of the beach is that White faced Capuchins show up every time I visit. You have to watch them and you can feed them but don't leave your bag alone because they will steal the contents. The beach is private and cost abou$3 and a dollar to park. The beach is kept clean and the waves are medium.

Playas De Doña Ana bij Puntaarenas.
Zeer vies strand dat bezaaid ligt met afval en dode vissen.
Er staat een groot bord met strand voor toeristen. Er liggen alleen een paar locals.
Dure entree van $ 1500 p/p en $ 1000 voor de auto.
Met taxi is het $ 12000 vanaf Puntaarenas.
Geen aanrader dus.
Genoemde prijzen in Colon.
Zeer vies strand dat bezaaid ligt met afval en dode vissen.

Un lugar tranquilo, y muy limpio. Una playa preciosa con una pared de rocas enormes. La corriente es bastante fuerte. Cuenta con baños, duchas, restaurante, parqueo. La entrada es muy barata, alrededor de 2500 colones. Se pueden ver algunos animales.
Fue una experiencia muy linda!

Fuimos un grupo grande y el lugar es ideal para ese tipo de salidas. Cuanta con vigilancia y atención a discapacitados y adultos mayores. Hay facilidades de instalaciones, ranchitos, mesas de piedra. Me gustaron los enormes árboles que dan sombra al lugar. Los baños y sanitarios están en regulares condiciones pero se dejan usar. Es un lugar cercano y accesible a la capital. Y el mar, bueno, siempre es agradable bañarse en el mar y disfrutar la brisa marina. Muchos monos en los árboles. Recomendado

This was a good place for a family to go. The waves weren't too bad, they have showers and bathrooms, restaurants, the whole works. Highly recommend. You won't find any shells or things like that but there are some cool little animals when you walk in that you can feed and they are pretty tame.

El recordar esos días de infancia y llevar a mis hijas a conocer una lugar en donde todas las familias iban por un día, me trae grandes recuerdos, le han hecho cambios por el bien de los visitantes, y el mar en la mañana estaba un poco sucio debido a que había llovido en la noche, pero conforma fue subiendo la marea se fue limpiando poco a poco, el restaurante muy bueno muy rico y con precios muy accesibles, el salonero te lleva la comida a donde estés y da muy buen servicio. Vela la pena recordar y visitar este lugar.

I live in Costa Rica and there is one day of the week the open air restaurantis closed although you can still be. the beach.
I want to go when tbe restaurant is open. It is convivial Does antone know what day of the wedk the restaurant is closed
