The scenery here is really beautiful. It is very lively with the presence of people. The hotel is very big and has many shops that sell a variety of goods. Here are also many entertainment centers for adults and children. is recommended for visitors to visit this hotel

A month ago today, Saturday 15.10.22 First World Plaza Hotel in Genting Highlands.
This used to be my haunt as I was one of the building material supplier for this hotel plus other projects up in the highlands back when I was in this industry in my twenties and early thirties.
So much has changed and improved on though lots more brands and outlets as well as eatery. Very good weekend crowd as usual 💛

You need to purchase an entrance ticket which includes all rides. But, better to get the priority ticket otherwise you end up standing in queues more than you actually go on rides, especially if your visit is during school holidays or national holiday. Unfortunately, during our visit we missed many rides due to bad weather and technical issues, even after standing in long queues.

An interesting experience, good spot for shopping,

This shopping mall sells high-end stuff and it also has great LED entertainment boards which plays a different story with dancing lights every 30 minutes. Great for entertaining the kids while the adults are inside the casino.

Rather normal mall with entertainment and eating options. Shopping options are limited and is too crowded during holidays.

There are shop lots available for mid class and high class shopper. Multiple restaurants to choose too! The bars and restaurants at rooftop is best with cozy weather.

Lots of options for shopping and the mall features more of the local brands so the things are more affordable here. There are also huge variety of food options and great entertainment choices such as snow world or karaoke. An excellent place to go for the family.

The mall itself is a destination to visit, the sound and hanging lights show was a star attraction. Overall a good place to visit and dine.

Yes ada beberapa tempat makan vegan di SkyAvenue Mall - Medan Selera dan juga di Malaysian Food Street dan juga di Jom Makan Street Food. SkyAvenue terletak hanya bersebelahan dengan First World Plaza

Hi, I'm heading to Genting Highland in a few days and will be staying at First World. Saw some reviews of people going down to Gohtong Jaya so...
I've got a few questions :
1. How do I get to and fro from First world to Gohtong Jaya
2. What are the recommended things to do/eat at Gohtong Jaya?

1. To get from First World Hotel to Gohtong Jaya, you may take the cable car to the Genting Premium Outlet (GPO). from here you may take a short 15 minutes down hill wall or look out for shuttle services. Do enquire from the Information counter.
2. Gohtong Jaya do house various eateries, mainly Chinese cuisine. For those Fish Head lovers, you may try out the "Radha Fish Head Curry".
How can i go to the first world plaza from the avenu car cable station
I have 2 kids so is it a short walk?

Actually it's very near. Just a walking destance after tge cable car ride. There will sign board to First World Hotel after reach at Genting thru Cable car.

Hello, has anyone rolled a wheelchair-bound person from Genting Grand to First World Plaza before? I only saw plenty of escalators... some parts are cordoned off because of construction work 😰Pls advise... is the only way I can get there is by car?

Yes, it is closed. It is completely refurbished. The arcade remains open and the cinema is open as well.

hi, yes, the First World Plaza & the new Sky Avenue are within one roof (top of the hill),
all is walking distance once you are at the top (but its kind of long walk)
But there r a new shopping place at the mid-hill, the GPO (Genting Premium Outlet) which is much better place to shop...

I had gone there in June 2017 and was informed that the renovation would take at least six more months. So I presume that it may still be under renovation.

1. Can someone please clarify if only the First World Indoor Theme Park is closed or the entire First World Plaza is closed?
2. What else is there to do in Genting Highlands? I already booked my stay in First World and now just discovered this closure today!!

A lot will depend if you are coming alone or with a group.For precise details kindly provide your email address.Even if most of the places are shut down there are great things to do still.Please note while KL is nearby on the map is actually far like Bombay to Delhi.Infact Genting is in another state boundary.All in all will depend on your email so that I can give you more info.

In First World Plaza, the Operating Hours are; open Daily: 10am – 10pm. Note: Shops located at Level T2 will open until 12 midnight only. As of today and check Resorts world Genting website for updated info.
