Staying with Said was an incredible experience. The place is breathtaking, surrounded by dunes where you can take peaceful walks and witness the most stunning sunrises and sunsets. The accommodations are spacious and welcoming, and the food is absolutely delicious. Said is a fantastic host who arranges unique desert excursions, always making sure everything is tailored to your preferences. His kindness and hospitality made me feel completely at ease, and what was supposed to be a short stay turned into something much longer. His amazing dog made my stay even better ! Thank you for everything !

We had a really nice stay in the desert. Said and his team are very friendly people and we felt at home. Also the camp is located near the dunes in the middle of nowhere. It was really quiet and we could enjoy the stars at night in the desert. Said offered self cooked food which was very delicious and also can organise all kinds of tours for you for a reasonable price. We had the best time in the desert, and would recommend staying here.

This place is amazing! From the minute I arrived I felt so welcomed and at home.. the setting is so beautiful and the trip out to Chegaga and the oasis etc is so worth it! Literally one of the most insanely beautiful things i've seen.. and saïd took such great care of everyone and made us delicious meals.. i was traveling alone, but never lonely or unsafe.. and he even took me to my 6.30am bus in the morning! totally recommend it!

Said and his team are truly exceptional! From the moment I reached out to him, he was incredibly helpful and welcoming. My two kids (aged 9 and 12) and I had the pleasure of spending a few magical days at the Chegaga Spirit camp, located near Mhamid. Said and his team have a remarkable ability to make you feel at home in the most effortless and genuine way. By the second day, it felt as though we had been part of the camp’s family for a lifetime!
The camp itself is breathtaking—set in a stunning, peaceful location and surrounded by extraordinary people. One highlight for my kids was the camp’s friendly dog, who quickly became their loyal companion. I felt completely at ease letting them explore the desert with their new furry friend by their side.
Said also organized an incredible trip to the dunes for us, which turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of our lives.
If you’re looking for a place to reconnect with nature, meet wonderful people, and create lifelong memories, I cannot recommend Chegaga Spirit highly enough. This experience touched our hearts, and we can’t wait to return someday!

We really enjoyed our time with Saïd.
He brought us to the Chegaga dune like it's nothing to drive in the sand. Incredible view ! He is working hard to make our stay a great experience.
Worth the drive to get there !

It's difficult to explain with words a unique place like this.
Well as listed: nice clean room, en-suite bathroom with hot water, common dining room where on request delicious Moroccan dinners homemade by Said for his guests are served....
but all this is not enough, the Camp is in an enchanting position a few kilometers from the village of M-Hamid and marks the beginning of the desert.
A place that alone gives you peace and serenity, Said and Hamstad make it even more special and with their kind attentions will make your stay unforgettable.
I also recommend booking one of the many excursions that the Camp offers. Any excursion you decide to do will certainly be unforgettable. ☺️
We hope sooner or later to be able to return to this enchanted place

We visited M'hamid just amid the music festival of Touareg Rock that was happening. The city is beautiful but the real intense part comes when you start going deep in the desert. In the experience of visiting the Chegaga dunes, you get deeper in a desert that will make you feel as part of the nomad tradition and the indigenous berbere tradition. It is a must if one really wants to know what it means to appreciate nature in its rawest forms. We started the journey at Said's site camp (camp with houses) we found through airbnb, replies were fast and it was easy to make plans for a trip in the desert. Upon arrival we were greeted with great respect and sincerity and it was like that throughout the stay. The moments, photos and conversations are something I'll cherish for a long time. Unforgettable.

Saīd is a man of heart who will bend in 4 to please you. He listens to your needs.
He left us with lasting memories like the vigil with the guitar or the starry night to philosophize.
He is a brave man who never stops working to make tourists happy to discover the desert.
