Easy Hike with Amazing Scenery
feb. 2020
It was an easy hike - mostly walking. The falls is great. I would love to swim but it was so cold during my visit. The scenery while walking to the falls was also beautiful.

My guide said, you can hire a carabao carriage for Php900 maximum of 9PAX per carriage. It will bring you close to the falls but you still have to hike a little to swim and take great photos with the falls.

Guide fee is Php100 while entrance/environment fee is Php10.

Great spot especially after a lot of rain think maybe in the dry season would not be as good but it was roaring

Trek through the trees
jul. 2019 • Familie
Park up and get your own guide who’ll lead you through the forest across streams, ending up at Kabigan Falls, a wonderful sight and complete with a natural plunge pool to help you cool off. Quite a challenging trek to the waterfall so be ready for some exertion, but it is worth it when you get to the falls.

Breathtaking
jan. 2019 • Familie
Yeas it is breathtaking because you need to walk more than a kilometer I guess to reach it but when you reach the falls, it will again take your breath because it look majestic. The water is clear and very cold. If you are the adventurous type, you should visit this place. Plus the entrace fee is very minimal and they will give you a tour guide. It depends if you wanted to give a tip but 100 Pesos will not hurt your budget.

Amazing highlight to trip

There is a walk of about 1.5 km to the falls with a guide (woman!) who accompanies and helps you over the wooden bridges and the river fords. She made sure we all were comfortable (on a sunny warm day - the first part has no shade, so a hat, suntan lotion, a scarf - something to avoid burn is well advised!). It is an easy walk, with steps up the steeper bits, and railings wherever there may be risk. It is not a steep climb. After the initial 200 meters the walk is lovely, through paddy fields, alongside the babbling, gurgling stream. The canopy, sun-flecked, increases, and eventually you cross the stream on a bridge with three logs and railing on both sides (here there is a toilet, modern, should you need it). Then ford a stream, and up a hill and there she is. A lovely waterfall, into an accessble pond, in which you can swim. The waters are amazing - a little cold - but so very welcome after the walk. The water is like silk over the skin, enveloping you, softening you, such an antithesis to the salt water of the ocean. Emerging, you feel revitalized!

Fun day out

The walk itself to the waterfall is beautiful. The rice fields, the mountains and the streams were very picturesque. The waterfall itself was beautiful and the water provided for a refreshing swim. The tour guides are really helpful and friendly and there's little stalls with Filipino delicacies along the way.

If you are an avid fan of Mother Earth's masterpieces, then you'll also fall for Kabigan Falls!
A 45-minute trek is worth-it. The waterfall is not the only thing worth your go. The lush forest, the lucent streams, the lullabies from the birds - they all greet with a refreshing hello, calming the tired soul in you.
And when you reach the end, you probably could not help but dive into the invigoratingly cold pool down the cascading Kabigan falls.
