I really want to say its amazing to Travel with Serengeti Sange Safaris because I have really enjoyed so much.
Fast and fir most I want to thank the manger of the company Mr. Mosses Lukuba who took us through the Serengeti game drive and we really experienced a fantastic and unforgettable experience.
Secondly I want to appreciate the best techniques of the guiding that the manager have since he has the sharp eyes that all through the game he was the fast to see and Identify most animals and features.
Last but not least let me say that if you are willing to or in need to travel to any park in Tanzania book your Safari with Serengeti Sange Safari

Wonderful communication experience with Mosses and Sange safari over WhatsApp and email! Our total expense included everything Mosses promised to us and it exceeded all expectations once we began driving around. Meals, tents, driver, cook, car etc we’re all quality in our opinion.
The only reason to give 4 starts instead of 5 would be because tho we booked with Sange Safari, we we’re paired with a different company without a notice. (We found this to be common amongst others as well.. possibly thinking this was due to not having enough people for a safari on our dates with Sange??) Anyways, besides this small surprise we loved our experience, they seem to be loyal, very punctual and I would recommend booking with them!!

Last weekend we had a great time with David (Potato head) and Martin Luther King! We did a 3 day 2 night safari in Serengeti and honestly, everything was perfect! The first afternoon we already spotted lions and a cheetah!! David and Martin did everything they could to make this trip unforgettable. Furthermore, David is an excellent chef (tam kam kuma) and Martin has some nice driver skills. Lastly, I would like to say something about Mozes and the negative reviews about him. I can understand why people would warn u for him, for us he also made some mistakes (changed lodges after already agreeing and upped the price for adding more people). However, when u just watch out and make sure everything is clear, there are no problems!
Katipo (Asante in Migoli language) for everything!

We really hit the jack pot with this company. Our tour guide was David who i nicknamed the `golden jackal` and our driver was martin who i did not nick name unfortunately. So we did 5 days from mwanza to arusha including lake manyara, serengeti and the spectacular Ngorogoro crater. We had the most incredible experiences with the david as our tour guide that i couldn't recommend him enough. He has incredible intuition with both people and nature along with eagle eyes helping us to spot all of the big 5 and even 2 of the small 5. I learnt so much from his knowledge about nature which completely heightened the entire experience. Trust me this is the guy that you want guiding your safari and my advice is be honest with the things that you want to see and what you want to get from your trip but work with him and respect his advice because trust me this guy knows what hes doing.
Initially it can be difficult meeting someone that you dont know especially if you haven't done safari before. On the first day for example my travel buddy needed to withdraw money in shillings and then convert over to USD for the payment of safari. The bank completely messed up the process resulting in it taking over two hours - david was so supportive and helpful he really glued the situation together. Then on day 3 of safari my friend got his bank card swallowed up in the local ATM outside lake manyara and here is where David absolutely excelled himself hence his name - The Golden Jackal - The next day just so happened to be tanzanias public holiday and day of independence and so the bank wouldn't be open. David managed to call the head office and get the bank manager out to us and retrieve the bank card! yes he really did that and then when we finally caught up with the bank manager he was sitting in bar drinking beer. David spoke to him on our behalf and informed us that the bank manager wanted some money to return the card. David negotiated the situation for us so that the card was returned without payment. Like i say this is the guy that you want on your safari a huge thank you to David...the golden jackal...:)

We did the 2-day, 1-night Serengeti tour with Sange Safari and man, was it epic. After the 2.5 hour drive from Mwanza airport to the park entrance, we drove around for 5 hours and saw tons of impalas, buffalos, zebras, wildebeasts (pumbas), antelopes, baboons and a few giraffes. We arrived at the camp site around 7:30p (after we waited for the other Safari Jeep who was behind us but got lost - lol). Nonetheless, we arrived just in time for the start of our 5-course supper at the Tortilis luxury camp (pretty much a 5-star hotel without the walls). talk about green - solar powered energy, walky talky to communicate and flashlights for our weapons at night to see oncoming predators. Supper included traditional Tanzania food including appetizers, soup, chicken and rice or beef if you preferred, and a nice desert, served a la carte style. Wish we had known though that lunch was not served on the first day, because we were starving up till supper. Advice - bring your own lunch for the first day.
Did I mention the Tortilis camp staff were extremely friendly, the accommodations fantastic and food was amazing. Felt right at home with even internet in the room - no lie!! Bed was king size, a little hard, but slept well with all around mosquito nets.
Oh, and did I tell you that Martin (best safari driver ever) and David (best tour guide ever) were both fabulous and extremely knowledgeable - they knew exactly where the wildlife was.
In two days we saw 4 and a half of the big five (lion, elephant, leopard, buffalo and hippos - the half). The rhinoceros lives too far near Ngorongoro, so time did not allow. We settled with the hippos to complete our five. By the way, the male lions we saw on day two were right next to our safari vehicle, not a care in the world. Baboons and giraffes lined the road on day two, so we had to wait until they felt like finished crossing the dirt road.
We finished our tour early on day two - 24 hours total in the park, and enjoyed the bagged lunch that Tortilis prepares for us to depart with - a hot meal with chicken, rice, drinks, water, fruit and sweets. Then we started our 2.5 hours journey back to Mwanza. Our flight was at 10 and we arrived In the small town around 4:30p. If you are into sight seeing, you can book one of the lake manyara tours for a couple hours to kill time.
We chose to walk around and grab supper at a fabulous restaurant. Martin and David picked us up from the restaurant before taking us back to the airport around 7:30p. Not much to do in Mwanza, not to mention the tiny airport w/no wifi.
All in all, it was a super experience. Sorry I can’t name all the animals but checkout some of the pictures below. If you don’t try nothing in Africa, I’d suggest you try it!! And yes, Mosses uses WhatsApp to communicate, but it seems common in Tanzania. It works and he was always reachable. Total package was USD1,200.00 for the 2-day, 1-night experience and include airport pickup and drop off, tour and the Tortilis accommodations with 3 meals (dinner, breakfast and lunch). Big respect and gratitude to Sange for the experience!!

We were group 5 pax from South Africa we were looking for a perfect safari company in Tanzania
Upon our safari enquiry there came Bernard with Serengeti Safari Booking.
This guy was always active and he answered all our questions within a fraction of second.
We were offered alot and we actually had no any inconveniences.
We did a 5 private camping safari in Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara and Tarangire. We Saw alot of wildlife and our guide Justine was very professional and our Chef Meshack cooked us a very delicious meal that we cannot forget about it.
We highly recommend this company for anyone from anywhere to book with this Company for quality service at very reasonable price.

I had with my wife a nice safari at Sange Safari from Mwanza to Serengeti.
I contacted Mosses Lukuba using E-mail and he responded very quickly.
Everything went smoothly and Mosses Lukuba even called me two days before the safari. He told me that we will be picked up at hotel in Mwanza 9am and we are going to see a lot of different kinds of animals in Serengeti.
Driver and quide became to hotel some minutes before promised time.
We stopped at the gate of Serengeti. There was a little shop, where we bought some
souveniers. The quide had breakfast bags and we had a breakfast before the safari started.
Just a few kilometres from the gate we saw the first elephant maybe 10 metres away from the road.
From the big five we saw many lions, more elephants, lot of buffaloes and even two leopards.
We could not see rhinoceros, because they live too far away for a one day safari.
If you like to see all big five, you must discuss with Mosses Lukuba to make a longer safari.
We saw also many warthogs, giraffes, lot of hippos in different spots, vultures, hundreds of zebras and wild beasts, crocodiles laying on the shore and swimming in the river.
Serengeti must be the best place on the earth to see masses of animals!
Many thanks to Mosses!

We had a highly enjoyable 2 night safari starting in Mwanza and finishing in Arusha. It was an unforgettable experience but as you will have guessed by reading some of the other reviews then there are still issues preventing Serengeti Sange Safari from becoming more successful. However, in balance I would recommend Sange Safari to friends and family. Sorry for the (very) long review but I would have found this level of detail really useful (and reassuring in many respects) if I had had this prior to booking myself.
Summary of trip - total cost for two people $2150 ($500 deposit payed online in advance)
Day 0
1) Met David (Moses's brother) the night before leaving. He went through the itinerary and collected the $1650 in cash still owed. He went to the bank prior to picking us up the following morning to pay this in so Moses could pay all park fees online.
Day 1
1) Left Mwanza around 11:30 with David (guide) and Martin (driver). Private trip for two of us.
2) Arrived at Serengeti national park around 15:00 and saw amazing animals.
3) Arrived at Mbalageti Safari Lodge at 19:00 (sunset at 18:40).
Day 2
1) Left Mbalageti Safari Lodge at 06:00 (sunrise at 06:40)
2) Safari in western Serengeti and central Serengeti during morning.
3) Travel between Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater arriving at around 14:00-15:00.
4) Safari in Ngorongoro crater.
5) Arrival at Ngorongoro Forest Lodge in Karatu at 19:00.
Day 3
1) Left Lodge at 08:30.
2) Spent morning at village Mto wa Mbu for culutural tourism visit to village with guide Goodluck.
3) Arrival in Arusha round 16:00.
Positives:
1) Superb value for money when taking into account that it was a private tour, the accommodation was luxurious (around $300 per night), and that national park entrance fees are very expensive.
2) In only 1 day and a half of actual safari saw a huge number of animals. Simply incredible.
3) Trip went smoothly - no hold ups at park entrances and all accommodation booked.
4) David was a pleasant guide and Martin was an excellent driver (drove for 13 hours with probably a total of 1 hour break on the 2nd day!) Martin and David also changed a flat tyre in record time. We felt safe during the trip.
Negatives/risks:
1) Booking was done over email and whatsapp. It was difficult to pin Moses down to give details about different trip options or itineraries or confirm that everything (accommodation, food, park fees etc.) would be included in the price. It's difficult to know whether this was due to the language barrier to some extent.
2) Following on from this, the trip was sold as a 3 day safari. In reality it was only a 2 day safari as the 3rd day was actually a cultural heritage tour which we had not requested. We stopped in Mto wa Mbe where a guide was waiting for us and clearly expecting us to pay for a tour (leaving us little room to refuse considering this was the only activity planned for the day).
3) Moses promised that he would be the guide. This was not the case. We wouldn't have minded if he had been honest from the start as David and Martin were perfectly good.
4) Following paying the deposit online via Moses's Sange Safari website he sent us messages on whatsapp asking me to buy iphone cases for him. This was unnecessary and unprofessional.
As you can see none of these issues above are reasons not to book a safari with Sange Safari. We personally had a very enjoyable safari without any loss of money, delays at gates or any of the unsavoury situations described in some other reviews. The booking process did not inspire any confidence and personally we would have ran a mile if not for the fact that Sange Safari had been recommended to us by a friend. If you are able to negotiate a detailed itinerary and overlook the booking process then there is a fantastic private safari on offer for an extremely good price. Take heart in the fact that we had a good experience.

Hi, we were wondering what are the possibilities and costs to visit the Serengeti Park. We will be in Zanzibar and it would be nice to visit for 1 - 2 days. Could you please also let us know if end of May is a good period to see the migration?
Many thanks. Alejandra

Hello,
Is it possible to make a 3-Day / 2 Nights tour to Serengeti NP / Ngorongoro CA ??
Do you have this option sleeping in lodges (not tented camps)? We'll arrive (2 persons) at Arusha Airport (ARK) on September 15th 01:30P.M. and will leave from Kilimanjaro Airport on September 19th 3:55P.M.
If you have this option, how much this is going to cost?
Thank you.
