Beautiful venue for our friends wedding, superb service by staff especially Diane the waitress.
The food was beautiful presented,the gardens are stunning,and the firework display finished off the day.
Would highly recommend the whole experience, will definitely come and stay again,everything was perfect!

Very well presented lunch with good attentive service for my mother's 90th birthday.
Imaginative desserts created which delighted all the family.
Empty plates practically from all 16 of the family showed genuine appreciation and enjoyment.
Perfect sized portions.
A big "Thank you" to the chefs and waiting staff involved.

Wonderful service and a fantastic selection of food catering for individual preferences and food intolerances. Staff very helpful for someone with limited mobility.

We had a wonderful stay, exceptional service, warm and friendly. There was an issue caused by another group of guests, the management and team dealt with this calmly and very professionally, they resolved this issue beyond our expectations.
Stunning setting, wonderful buildings once you’ve found your way round, great place to explore and loads of historic interest.
We very much hope to return soon!

Having stayed in many nice hotels in an earlier corporate life I'd come to hear about Amberly Castle but had never got to stay there. We put that right in March when we were looking for somewhere different to spend a night. We booked over the phone but on arrival decided to upgrade to a suite within the main castle structure itself. I'm very glad we did.. it was indeed a wonderful experience. We had been lucky with the weather that weekend (26th March). It was the first hot and sunny weekend of the year and what a place to be during such nice weather.
We found the staff to be attentive and helpful. The evening meal was excellent too. I'd be more than happy to return to Amberly Castle. It was an ambition realised!

We booked the Christmas package so that we could do something completely different after the loss of a close relative this year. The booking process was a bit long-winded - many many emails and a wrong price from the events manager - but happily once we arrived the experience really took off. The staff could not be more welcoming if they tried, nothing is too much trouble and the standard of the rooms, food, facilities and hotel in general is top-notch. The adaptations for covid were well thought-through. Highlights were a walk to the River Arun, access to the battlements from our room and reading in front of the open fire on Boxing Day. My only suggestions would be larger robe sizes and not to offer Pevensey room as a twin, as there is no door on the bathroom! Otherwise it really is a very special place and we may well return in 2022...

2nd visit and it did not disappoint.
My partner arranged a special treat for us, we visited Amberley Castle for her birthday in 2020.
Everything was as we had remembered, great location, fab rooms, superb service, same excellent food and drinks.
Will we go back again, of course we will.

We had a fantastic stay at Amberley Castle for our daughters 10th birthday.
The staff were amazing at making our daughter who is called ‘Amberley’ feel very special visiting her castle…! They even put us in the ‘Amberley, bedroom which was lovely and had a great window seat overlooking the courtyard gardens.
We booked for a late afternoon tea which was served in one of the lounge’s and was just perfect for Amberley’s birthday tea.
Thank you for making our visit very memorable.

The afternoon tea at Amberley Castle was gift to us last Christmas, but there hadn't been a chance to go there until yesterday. We were not disappointed.
We were given a warm welcome at the reception desk, and shown to our table.One of the waiters brought us a menu showing the choice of teas. There were so many to choose from. Coffee and hot chocolate were also available. We chose the Breakfast Tea.
After a short time, the friendly waiter arrived with dishes of cream and jam, followed by a three tier cake stand. The bottom plate contained various sandwiches, then above them was a selection of delicious-looking mini cakes. At the top were plain and fruit scones which were warm and encased in a white napkin. Then hot mini quiches and sausage rolls were brought to our table.
All the food was delicious, and it was a real treat to have tea in such a lovely setting. There were a few other diners in the room, but the tables were far enough apart that other people's conversations couldn't be overheard.
The pleasant smooth jazz music in the background was an unobtrusive and pleasant addition to the atmosphere,
At the end of our meal, we enjoyed a walk around the lovely walled garden. Unfortunately, the albino peacocks decided not to put in an appearance.

I agree with the others you can view and recommend a cream tea. If you are in that area The Amberley Museum is really worth a visit we only got there late in the day and wish we had more time, loads to see and do.

Yes, but please give them plenty of notice. Very good is it too. If it's a lovely day you can have your tea outside in the lovely garden where their residant white peacock sometimes wonders around. His name is Bob and he's quite a show off!
