How should I describe bumla . I sang the national anthem. I was so proud of india
Location - 15200 feet
Once u reach bumla, u are escorted to a small building where the Indian army has a counter selling Maggi, soup and tea. Please carry change. Maggi 50 inr, soup and tea 30inr. Remember it's 15200 feet so please don't waste food
Tourist throw the cups on the floor. Let's learn to use dustbin. This is our country
Tour of bumla- once u enter the building u have to go to the counter table in the same room where u show your permit and the person assigns a number to you which u must remember. The army takes people in groups . So they will call your number and take you walking to the border, explain the significance of the border and NO PHOTOS please. Let's not hide the phones in our jackets etc. Let's respect the security of the nation.
Once the explanation at the border is done u are escorted back to the entrance and can click snaps
Altitude sickness- eat very very light for breakfast , carry a flask of warm water and keep sipping Once u reach the high latitide that is road to Madhuri lake .
At Madhuri lake and bumla u have army canteens which provide hot water.
Kids and elderly people may feel slightly dizzy so then give them a sweet to suck, some warm water to sip and let them sit.
Clothes- wear waterproof gloves if going in winter else normal woolen gloves, u must have a warm jacket and a sweater inside if in winter else warm jacket is enough. Thick socks, woolen cap.
Please wear anti skid shoes of going during winter

Bumla pass is the line of actual control (LAC) between India and China. It is under control of Indian army. About 15200 feet from sea level, it is quite cold. No photo is allowed there.
You can travel there only by vehicle which have Arunachal registration. You need a pass which can easily be got if you tell the hotel where you are staying. (Need aadhar card).
They tell you about the 1962 Indo - China war and my heart was filled with pride. Their sacrifice and courage is unmatched. There is an army canteen where u can eat and buy some souvenirs

This place marks the present LAC of India-China boarder. The place is at high altitudes and relatively cold. The area is controlled by Indian army and the guide well during the visit and brief you about the history and importance of this place. It is surrounded by mountains and one can see the chinesse side of territory as well standing from the Indian side.

One of the highest mountain passes in the world, this is certainly a thrilling spot. One feels a spontaneous respect and awe for the individual soldiers in their lonely outposts in the bleak surroundings keeping watch, protecting us.

Snow filled place with snow capped mountain is the best way to explain Bumla pass. Salute to Indian army for doing their duty and protect our country from enemies. The experience of seeing them working in such tough weather condition is absolutely commendable and must watch for every Indian. No word is enough to explain the beauty of the place. Just splendid.
