We went with our rental car. The park was beautiful but be advised that a crappy sedan is not the best option for driving here as the speed bumps were brutal and we popped a tire. There is a little spot where you can have fish nibble your toes and see ancient cave paintings. Super cool!

This park was a very fun visit on a UTV tour we did with Rockabeach Tours. We got to see many historical and natural landmarks. This is well worth a visit if you go to Aruba.

5/5 experience here! The visitors centre was informative and the price to enter the national park was well worth the experience. At the caves our guide Rambo was amazing, answering every question and teaching us so much about the local environment- we loved him! Well worth a recommendation!

Kann man machen, aber es ist keine To-Do-Highlight. Zumal außerhalb des NP findet man gleiche wilde Natur .🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵🌵

We're rented a Jeep and headed out to go see the pools and the caves. The Jeep ride was the most unbelievably difficult and rough terrain going up and back down the mountain which took nearly 40 minutes each way. When we got there the hike down to the pools was severe and we weren't allowed to go and visit the caves without a tour guide which I couldn't find. Would not recommend this unless you like off-roading because this was terrible in my experience.

É um passeio bem interessante e diferente da atmosfera de praia de Aruba. Se você tiver num carro 4x4 sera uma experiência incrível, se não, como foi a minha, somente boa. O valor é de 15 dólares por pessoa para entrar. Já alguns pontos de observação da vegetação desértica do local, cavernas, praias bem selvagens (que não dão pra nadar pela correnteza). As piscinas naturais, só com 4x 4.

My husband and I went on a hike, the Cunucu loop. The visitor’s center is beautiful.
The staff was very professional and recommended the Cunuculoop, about 3.1 miles.
We saw lizards and wild goats, and we loved the hike. It was not too easy and not too hard. It provided us with some good exercise. We are in our 60s and Ike more than we hike.
Recommend sunscreen with high SPF. We wore 50, and a hat is highly recommended, along with water and your phone.
We sat outside on the terrace afterwards and enjoyed an ice cold smoothie. I recommend the pineapple. The best.
The staff was so friendly. They even gave us two shot glasses as souvenirs. Adorable people.

One of the most beautiful areas to visit and explore the history of Aruba. Heads up if you are traveling the paved road l, I suggest a vehicle that is not low to the road. I highly recommend the non paved road but you will need a jeep style vehicle. This area should stay forever wild.

Beautiful nature, nice experience on the caves, with the fish feet clean up and on conchi natural pool, make sure you bring enough water, snacks and sun protector if you go walking

Se puede llegar en automóvil pequeño o se requiere ir en Jeep 4x4?

Hola, logré ver algunos vehículos pequeños pero no llegan hasta adentro y creo que el terreno se va a haciendo más complicado para un vehículo de este tipo, recomiendo un 4x4 o reservar un UTV o ATV, la experiencia es bonita se van a divertir.

Hola Gerard, muchas gracias por compartir tu experiencia.. pronto iré a Aruba y quiero conocer las cuevas,, te pregunto, en el hiunday accent te dejaron entrar al parque? hay gúias en el parque? viste si depronto allá ofrecían transporte en 4x4 para ir a la piscina natural o todo eso hay que hacerlo si o si pagando de los tpurs caros?

I had heard that UTVs were banned due to the damage they were causing from friends visiting early this year. I would check with the park before booking an outside UTV rental.

The island is small as the other responder indicated - so if you are downtown by the boat harbors, I would estimate 30 minutes at most. You will need a 4 wheel drive Jeep/truck/ATV to really experience the park. We spent about 4 hours to all day depending on what you want to do. The drive to the Natural Pool is about 40 minutes because the roads are so rough you must go slow, but to me well worth the time spent. The southern/eastern side of the park has the caves, Dos Playas, and Boca Prins. All are pretty spectacular to see. We spent probably about 6 hours in the park.

I would rent a jeep so you can fully explore the whole park without concern.
I would agree that you need to budget a day so you can explore and see. That way there is no rushing around. The enterance where you go into to pay is full of information to read and there are walking paths and locations to drive into. Worth the time, a different landscape than home. They have a map on thier web site to help you plan.
If you have spare time check out the donkey sanctuary.
Waze app worked well guiding us around.

Could you offer more details about booking the ranger tour in the Aruba National Park - exactly what we want to do. I don't see it on the national park website and could only find private tours with high prices and too many extras. The tour itself is what we want. Thanks for your time!

Hola cómo vas . Al parque Arikok la entrada vale 11 dólares por persona de resto no pagas más . Dentro del parque vas caminando a la piscina natural y en carro puede visitar las cavernas fontain y el acantilado . Todo esto lo puedes recorrer en carro y sales por el sur hacia San Nicolás . Cualquier otro dato que necesites con gusto. Echando cabeza si hay buses de Tours que te llevan y te traen no estoy seguro de los valores pero puede valer entre 50 y 100 dólares por Dia. Te recomiendo que armes tu propio tour .

Ciao, dovrò visitare il parco a giugno e la mia "preoccupazione" è proprio quella dell'auto. Leggendo il tuo commento sembra che è percorribile anche una una normale auto è così ? Da quello che ho intuito solo la strada per la Natural Pool è sconsigliata con la 4x4 mentre le altre sono percorribili, mi dai conferma per favore ? Non vorrei andare al parco con una "utilitaria" e rovinarmi la vacanza.. grazie !
