We spent about 4 or 5 hours going to the Museum of Cultural History and the Viking museum. That was going at a leisurely pace and stopping for lunch.

We spent a day visiting these museums. We went on the ferry from the city centre and started with the Viking ships, then walked to the Folk Museum. There is a nice cafe there. It's not far to walk to the Fram and Kontiki museums from there, both are very well worth a visit. The quality of the exhibits and the way they are presented is excellent for all.

You should take a whole day to visit Fram Polar, Viking and Folk museum. I say a whole day because they all close quite early (around 4-5pm). I went in December and they were closing at 4 I think, so I had to rush in the Folk museum. Now they might close later since it's almost summer, so you have to check that out.

I would allow a minimum of five hours for visiting all of these.

It depends on the weather - if it is Spring or Summertime and the weather is good I would set a side a day to visit these places. Take the ferry from citycentre, spend the best part of the day at the folksmuseeum as it is mostly outdoors, walk to the other museeums, or take the hop on, hop off bus

I spent close to 1.5 - 2 hours on each museum, i.e. Viking Ship, Fram Polar & Kon-Tiki Museum. It depends on how much you want to know about each museum and whether you're a fan of museums.

We spent half a day visiting the Viking ships & folk museum, not sure about the other museums.

I would allow a day for this - its easy to spend half a day + in the cultural museum alone. I spent about 30 mins in the viking ship museum and between 1 hour and 1.5 hours in both the Fram Polar and Kon Tiki.
