If i stay at hotel around Oslo Visitor Center near Oslo Central Sta. How to go to the Norsk Folkemuseum? Is there any bus or train available from the Oslo central Sta to Norsk Folkemuseum ?
It's easy to get there by the ferry, you can catch it near the town hall and then it's about a 10 minute walk from the ferry stop to the folk museum. If you have a full day you can then walk from the folk museum to the viking ship museum and the Fram or Kon-Tiki museums where there is another ferry stop to return to the city center. The ferry information is online.
Bus. The visitor centre has the various bus routes. It is the same for the Kontiki and Polar Museums which are at the end of the same bus run. You can catch a ferry to the latter but it is a long walk from the jetty to the folk museum. Bus is quick and simple. Free on Oslo pass.
We found it super convenient to get there and everywhere wi the h public transportation. The walk from the ferry was pretty but a fair journey. Bus service was closer.
We took bus there, then walked to viking ship museum, then on to Kon tiki Museum and across the road to the Fram museum. Then we got a ferry back to Aker Brygge. This took a morning with easy walking
Transport details I cant post link but it is ruter.no then add

Don't remember, but my review tells something about which bus to take. Bus is the best way!
I went by ferry but like the other guy said,it was a long walk! Wish I had known about the bus! Don't be shy, ask the visitor centre or hotel for the correct direct bus.
You can look up by Google Map and there is bus 30 near visitor Center Tollboden, to the Stop Folkemuseet. We took ferry to Aker Brygge since I kind of remember that ferry didn't go to Central Station area.
Nr 30 bus from Tollboden stop P takes you straight there, but ask hotel to direct you to stop P ss its a bit tricky to find. Bus ride about 20 minutes. Bus stops all clearly announced on screens in buses
We have just returned from Oslo and the ferry wasn’t running until March. We took bus no 30 which for this particular museum is a better option anyway.
The other responses gave you great options. It really is easy to get to tourist attractions, especially if you are willing to walk a little bit.
Bus is really easy and stops right outside. We caught the number 30 bus
First get the Oslo pass then use it to get the ferry from the Town Hall to the Kon Tiki and Flam Museums. Then get the 30 bus up the hill to the Folk Museum. The Viking Ship museum is the stop before the Folk Museum and is also interesting to visit.get the 30 bus back from the Folk Museum back to the ferry at the Kon Tiki/Flam museums back into Oslo. The pass is valid for 24 hours from first use and you can also get multiple day passes. This gets you into most attractions and museums in Oslo plus all buses, ferries and trams.
You get the museum ferry which goes from the quayside, a short walk from your hotel , to the peninsula which houses several of Oslo's best museums. If you get the Oslo card , museum entry and the ferry are all included.
don't know... We had a driver
