Iberostar Selection Ensenachos Spørsmål og svar

Cambridge, Canada

We have been to this resort prior to it being an Iberostar and we could go anywhere on the resort. Apparently that has changed. What are the restrictions on guests in the family section. Some reviews imply that we are not allowed in the adult section. What exactly does that mean to us? Thanks

The restaurant at the park ( family section ) is the same menu at lunch as the spa section, the last time I looked. The only difference is that there will be children at lunch at the park section. The Spa section is adults only that have booked that section. You can use both beaches, there is a lunch restaurant on Megano beach now that was not there during Hideaway days and there is a small snack bar at the end of Ensenachos beach that serves hamburgers and hot dogs that wasn’t there in the Hideaway days. You just can’t go and use the facilities in the spa section except the actual spa ) you can still walk the grounds ) and you can’t use the facilities at the Grand Village unless you wish to pay to go to dinner at El Colonial by reservation. You will still love it ( we do ) as much as the Hideaway days but it is a different vibe now. Children in the lobby might be a surprise to you if you remember the quietness it used to be. If you book the spa section you can use both spa and park suites section. If you book the Grand Village you can use the entire resort. We have been many times during Hideaway years and also Iberostar years so if you have any other questions please feel free to message me.

It just means that the adult section is for adults and kids are welcomed at the family section.

Hi From what we were told, the only restrictions would be the Spa pool. Theres no children allowed. In the Grand Village area it is for 14+, the restructions there i believe is that they have some restaurants that we could not access. We were able to go to Ensanachos beach but i preferred the Megano beach anyway.

The park area is specifically for families and has a water park. The Spa and The Park areas share a buffet and a la carte restaurants. There was entertainment in the lobby many evenings after dinner that focused on the kids and they enjoyed it very much.

The Grand Village was always off limits to those who had not booked that area even during Royal Hideaway days. The beach area there, you can walk the beach but not use the services nor enter that area. Park Suite area is for families and you are not to use the Spa Section(18+). Spa section you can go to the Park Section. Should you want to eat at the GV you can book and pay to have dinner there.

Guests of the Park section (family section) do not have access to the pool or lunch restaurant in the Spa (adult only) section of the resort. The Grand Villas are only for guests of that section and are restricted to age 14 plus. As a guest of the family section you would have access to both beaches, the buffet, and the a la carte except for the restaurant in the Grand Villas. It still gives you lots of variety, but not the access you enjoyed on your last visit.
