I had a celebration birthday here in September which was booked months in advance. The customer service was good and the person who dealt with my enquiries was always extremely helpful. However, the sit down meal on the day was a huge disappointment which I found to be very embarrassing. After complaining I was reimbursed 25%. So, as previously mentioned, the customer service was good but not sure I could recommend

I Cannot get in contact with anyone at the hotel. I was meant to be offered a change of dates. I've tried calling numerous of times now I have finally given up. Nobody is on the end of the phone when I call. Absolutely shocking for an establishment that's meant to have a good reputation.

Booking process was great and made changes to accommodate our family. Much appreciated and hotel and rooms look really great with comfy bed and nice extras in the room. However. Checked in and went to the room. Had to leave windows open wide as room was roasting, no aircon. Woken up by guests leaving a few times till 1am. Due to the curtains being a lovely expensive hessian type weave they look amazing but have the same effect at blocking light as a window! So,me and my son up at 4.30 with the sunrise while my wife slept. Thought I'd put a film on a tablet for us both to watch,nope. No wifi details in the room. Lovely nicely decorated place and breakfast was good but as for sleep. Terrible. Play golf here. Dont stay.

We booked this hotel? as it was close to a wedding we were attending. We gave an approximate arrival time of 5/6pm but arrived after 7pm to find the place in darkness. We had to call the onsite staff to let us in. This is more of a golf club with a few (5) rooms instead of a hotel. We checked in and returned to the wedding reception. Arriving back at the hotel first impressions of the room were positive. It seemed spacious with good twin beds and a walk-in wardrobe! However, the ensuite is very compromised by the sloping ceiling and it is possible to touch all walls without moving. You certainly couldn't swing the proverbial cat! The layout is odd with the mirror above the toilet and the basin below the sloping ceiling. I always felt the ceiling was just an inch in front of my head. Beware of the photos, they are wide angle and stretched. Sleep was good until 7am on a Sunday morning when I was woken abruptly by a crash and rumbling sound. Investigation revealed this noise to be related to the driving range immediately adjacent and was golf balls being dropped into a machine of sorts, cleaning or sorting. Further sleep was impossible. Breakfast was good and the staff very good. They were concerned we had been woken by noise so early and said they would report it. Overall a very average experience apart from the staff.…

Many thanks for your response and sorry to hear you were awoken early, staff had reported it and obviously we will look into the matter to ensure that other guests are not woken. Regards Rachael Russell

We stayed overnight for a Burns night supper and it was fantastic the room was spacious and well appointed, the bed was very comfortable so a great nights sleep. The staff both in the bar and on reception were excellent nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended
