The rooms need maintenance. I paid R200 less than my sister who stayed in a much nicer house. The rates does not make sense. The shower taps cannot be regulated. It is not nice to shower, because the water is either cold or hot. We could not cook on the two plate because it keep on switching off. We had a function. The hall looked terrible and when asked for help, you are told they cannot help. The chairs could not be moved, the mattresses that you could see in the hall, was also not covered or moved. There is little for the kids to do. The staff were friendly.
We hebben bij deze camping willen kamperen. Nadat we hadden ingechecked en betaald zijn we onze plek gaan uitzoeken. Visvijver zorgt voor veel insecten. Was en toiletblok heel oud. Natuurzwembad met oude planken en dat voelde allemaal wel erg sjovel aan. We zijn toen weer vertrokken. Geld teruggevraagd: dat was geen probleem maar na 2 maanden nog steeds niets terug ontvangen. Is maar 16 euro dus dat is niet zo erg grote schade. Maar je krijgt geen complimenten zo.
We arrived late in the evening and was met with warm hospitality. Each cottage is well equipped with everything you need for a stop over or even a weekend getaway. Each room has it's own aircon and there is even a TV to keep the kids busy.
Absolutely fabulous clean but rustic accommodation on a wine farm. Super walks at the Beautiful Orange river. Great braai areas, Fantastic, friendly owners who go out of their way to make sure visitors are comfortable. Will definitively return in grape season.
I dropped in here on my way to Augrabies. The price was reasonable and reflected in the quality of the accommodation which had probably not been upgraded for a while. I think the matress was foam. Nonetheless everything was clean and tidy, the kitchen and bathroom were good and the service was excellent.
