Best place to stay at in Pelee Island. Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Breakfast is to die for :-) beautiful view, nice beach , good entertainment and the winery is awesome! Thanks to Ray and Louisette Durocher for always providing us with a fabulous time!

swimming in the lake is wonderful, Ray has put out a floating device, there is a big tree for shade and two sitting benches. Ray knows a lot about the island and is a pleasure to chat with. Pheasant season is probably very nice as it will be cool for sleeping as the island does not have air conditioning.

We couldn't of dreamt of a better experience!!Louise Ete and Ray are great hostess and host! I will recommend to all my friends and family. We parked our car at the Ferry Dock in Leamington, then pack two back packs and brought our bikes on the Ferry and on the Island for the first time we biked to Island memories B&B, We checked in and biked down all along the North and East shore to find a beautiful public but very private beach which felt very tropical Amazing Positive Energy

Stayed here for two weekdays. We were the only guests. After checking out the B&B, we quickly decided it was not worth $150./day. We were told breakfast was at Exactly 9AM no chance of having it sooner. Well Ok other reviews said breakfast was great. My wife asked for an extension cord as one of the wall outlets did not work. Her answer was share the plug. We were quickly getting a picture of inflexibility and uncaring for her guest's needs. She asked me how I liked my coffee in the morning and told her, strong, her answer was of no surprise anymore, we make it light. She asked me what I liked for breakfast, so I said, when we go out we like eggs Benedict, her quick reply was, I don't like that so I don't make it. I thought we were the customers, not her. She also happened to say that she cooked better food when there was more people. Hmmm, we were not charged any less because we were only two. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. An overhead fan was available and very quiet. The room only had an alarm clock as a convenience. The lobby had no TV, nor any Internet. We were told Internet is for the business not guests, of course I realized. The special breakfast arrived. Fresh standard fruit, laughing cow cheese, two slices of tomato and croissant filled with marmalade and cream cheese baked. These were just plain bad. I left both. No offer for anything else. We left hungry and found a great place for breakfast with great coffee and fresh pastries at Connerlies in front of Anchors. On our last day, breakfast was scrambled eggs with chives and links. We both enjoyed it but was not spectacular. The kicker happened when I dared to ask for something. Since 70% of the roads are unpaved, my back window was totally opaque. The garden hose did not reach so I asked for bucket that I could fill with water to pour over the back window. She had a small nervous breakdown because we were giving her such a hard time and that she was special. I left the bucket and her B&B real quick. On the upside her husband Ray was great and very informative. Real nice guy. This place was run as if she was the guest, and not us. Rules were made to please her unfortunately. A poor memory of her place. Otherwise we enjoyed and occupied ourselves with our bikes and photography making our own fun. No water activities provided. Unfortunately the island water was not swimable as they had a green algae infestation. We spent time re-hydrating at Scudder beach bar and grill.

The hosts were great - informative about the island history and very enthusiastic about ensuring we were comfortable and informed. The breakfast was fabulous! The home is on the north side of the island - close to everything - (it is a small island)!!
