This was a wonderful stop along the highway to Denali from Fairbanks. Lots of restrooms and clean. The gift shop had lots of themed items for souvenirs. Our Tour director knew the owner so we got an opportunity to meet them as well. This is only open seasonally.
This is a roadside stop on the Parks Highway between Fairbanks and Denali National Park. Our tour bus stopped here for a routine pee break. It is a beautifully maintained property, with a really nice gift shop, a number of wooden moose creations, old farm equipment, home-made snow machines, and a large vegetable garden that supplies local restaurants. Inside the store is a beautiful taxidermy specimens of a polar bear and several other Alaskan animals. Visitors are encouraged to wander around and view the numerous attractions. The owner is a bush pilot and his plane is stored next to the store.
