Todo estuvo excelente. El Condominio muy bien equipado. Cerca está el auto mercado y hay restaurantes. Hay piscinas para los condominios y hay un club de playa cerca con restaurante con buen servicio.
Costa Rica was beautiful. Los Suenos was a lovely resort with all the American amenities you could possibly want. It does lack a little of the local flavor. It's easy to forget you're in Costa Rica unless you leave the resort. The condo was nice, but I felt communication was a little lacking with management. We were given two keys to the condo. We learned our second night there that one did not work (when we were locked out after going to dinner). We couldn't get a hold of anyone initially, which was frustrating. There was laundry in the washer and dryer the first day we arrived. The second night there ( the night we got locked out) two housekeeping (?) women arrived and were doing something with the laundry. Our taxi arrived, so I asked them to lock up (and ironically that is how we got locked out because you lock up from the outside). Later, we noticed the washer was then empty, but the dryer still had sheets in it, which remained there for the remainder of our stay. We would just pull it out and put it on the table when we did our laundry. It just seemed a little strange. It was really nice having the golf cart, which Elise offered at the time of booking since we were paying peak price. About a week before the trip, I sent an email just to make sure that was still a go, but she never replied. The golf cart key was included in the key packet, so it worked out, but a little communication would have been nice. My son complained of a slight mildew smell in the condo. It is very humid in Costa Rica, so I am sure this is hard to control. But as he pointed out, our family that stayed in a different condo didn't have the mildew smell in their condo. The condo was comfortable, air conditioning worked great, and overall we had a nice time. There were teeny-tiny ants in the kitchen pretty much the whole time we were there. I said something to management and it seemed like they were less of a problem for a day, and then back around for the remainder of the trip. We didn't cook much in the kitchen (only breakfast) so it wasn't an issue for us.Veranda and Bella Vista Condos are the nicest looking condos and in the best location. Also, I didn't know where to leave the keys the day of our departure. Our transfer picked us up at 6:00 am and I received different communication from different people on what to do. One said to drop it off in a little black box at Management Office and a different person emailed me and told me to leave it with the guard at the entrance of the Veranda Condos. They should have this worked out and clearly communicated in writing. I shouldn't have to seek out this information. Would I go to Costa Rica again? Yes. Would I stay in Veranda 4C? I probably would see what else is out there.…
Veranda Condos are located about 300 yards past the Marriott entrance, on the right hand size, on the left side of the La Iguana golf course first hole. They share several pools. I stayed in 5B. Two bedrooms, both with King size beds. Wifi is very slow. Below 0.5 speed. Decent TV channels. Some US, some Mexican, some Central American. Might need a car to move around. I was going back and forth to the Marriott on a small convention, and the car was a must. Ask for your Beach Club access car, which is almost across the street.
