This is our new Happy Place with the most relaxing atmosphere on earth. Less than an hour drive away from Pretoria and you are surrounded silence, bushveld and the most relaxing break away ever. The facilities are very private and absolutely excellent with everything you need. And the best part for us was to be in the PRIVATE swimming pool from morning till night while watching a bushveld fire right next to you, and free roaming Zebras passing by. If you need to get away and clear your head, this is the place to go!!! The best weekend of our lives and we can't want to go back.

The tents are super clean with all the little things you may need. The place is quiet and the private heated pool makes for a great place to unwind with a loved one. I would suggest you take your partner and leave the kids. Chris(the host) is a bundle of joy and was nothing but great. I will indefinably return and would highly recommend it.

For en hyggelig overraskelse i bushen! Eieren møtte oss på porten på sin quad bike sammen med hans 3 pups hoppet på og av turen som vi kjørte til vår campingplass. Det er bare 3 enheter, 2 (Bushbaby og Zebra telt) er semi nær hverandre (ca. 200 m). . . så flott for personvern. . . men venner kan også hoppe over for en nattsyke og en braai. Bassengene er oppvarmet. . . en tad varm om sommeren. . . men må være flott for en vinterbuskeferie. Sengene er herlig store og sengetøy rent og nytt. Badet har en sjenerøs størrelse dusj og flushable toalett. Du ville ikke tro at du faktisk camping. . . mer som GLAMping! Med hensyn til kjøkkenutstyr. . . dette stedet er ganske kitted ut. Rikelig med brannved følger også med. Våkne opp til Zebras som streamer gratis på dørsteget ditt og de sublime lydene av bushen. Vil definitivt komme tilbake til dette svært rimelige lille stykket av himmelen!…Finn ut mer

We had a most lovely stay at Beka Idube, everything from the clean, stylish and neat luxury tents with great views into the bush , to the thoughtful coffee, sugar and milk provided made for a great weekend in the bush. The heated very private pool on our deck was the cherry on top of the overall experience. The hosts were welcoming and attentive. Not more than 90min drive from OR Tambo but feels like you 6 hours away from the hustle. If you want to do nothing and see virtually nobody this is the place to go for some downtime.

Owners Chris and Coralezet were super hosts! Chris met us at the gate and drove us down to our tent, no hassle for us! There, we were presented with a lovely spot in the bush with all basic amenities at our fingertips! Microwave, two plate "stove", running warm water and a very warm sparkling blue pool on the deck! Our tent was clean and crisp. The bed was super comfortable and so were the pillows! Coralezet has made sure that in winter you can't get cold as there are electric blankets and down duvets. The bathroom has proper plumbing, shower and a flushing toilet. Bath and hand towels are provided along with hand soap and cream. Again very clean. We utilised the pool, in winter, and we loved it! Chris started the fire for us which warms the pool. A few hours later we switched the lights off and the milkyway came alive while we soaked in the warm pool. The stars were amazing! We also got to hear the lions roar in the distance. (not to worry none on their land) They do however have zebra, wildebeest, springbok and duikers. All roaming close to your doorstep. We had a fire pit, (wood provided for the first night) weber and built braai with grill. Cool wooden chairs for the fire pit are also there. If you enjoy bird life bring your binoculars as there are many to see. Coralezet is a horse lover and she has about 30+ minature horses. We were invited to go see them and watch her stable them for the night. Was lovely to watch and listen to all the intersting types of minature horses. Overall if you like clean, comfort and nature on your doorstep this is the place to go. +/-1.30hr from Jhb. You are literally in the bush, private to all surrounding dwellings. If you into doing nothing in the bush but relaxing Beka Idube is the place to be. We certainly return again soon!…
