April is an excellent month to rent a park home. Less people. Pool is fantastic. Tiki bar had great drink and food specials daily and free bands every night. Great place to walk. Available tennis courts, pickelball, horseshoe, restaurant, card and pool tournaments. Many good restaurants near by.
We chose this place because the variety of activities that are offered. Before I made reservations, I called and inquired about their wifi availability and was assured that they just upgraded and it would be good. Arrived and found that not true. Its lousy-to nonexsistant at our site. Moving anywhere else in the park (even in their commons area) doesn't help.
I'm a single woman staying in my Class C motorhome. If you arrive on a weekend, the office is closed and they put you in a overflow lot by the clubhouse with electric hookup. You have to fill your water tank ahead or back by the dumpsters where you can fill and wash off your rig. Monday I was put in a site that eventually could be a Park Model site so it is wide and deep with a concrete patio pad and sewer outlets in two spots for different lengths of abodes. The water and electric are on the back of the lot and my hose and cord JUST reached. My helper guy wouldn't let me back up further as the front ends are suppose to line up along the street side! I have lots of room out back and plenty of space for my car and a guests car. The wifi is good, no cable included. You have to arrange with Cox if you're here long enough. I believe the electric is metered too. Its pricey here for sure but the facilities are fantastic. Like others have said there are endless clubs and activities, good laundry (2), daily entertainment and monthly tribute concerts, i.e. Beegees, Jimmy Buffet, Tenors, etc. The dog parks (2) are very nice with grass and play stuff. I have a satellite laundry half a block from me with bathrooms, sm dog park and jacuzzi. There is a monthly Vendor Market with a lot of great stuff, clothes, food, jewelry, gadgets, etc. I'm backed up to the entry side wall, which is great as I'm not backed up against another resident, have more room outback. However, you do have street noise. Doesn't really bother me. Luke AFB has fighter jets flying over constantly from 7:00am on. I'm staying through March. I can't say I'd recommend it for short term stay. I was assigned a lot early on before arrival, however, if someone decided they want to put a park model on it, they have priority.…
We found this resort last minute, and what a great find it was, we booked a week and stayed for 3 weeks. This place is so great, we are coming back for a month in 2019. We were lucky to get a big RV lot as someone left early and it is the largest we’ve ever been on. The ‘gravel rv spots ‘ are not so great, would not stay there. The yoga instructors are top notch and there is a beautiful serene room for the classes in a ‘tower’. The gym is to die for, and they have an instructor for boot camp also. There is so much to do, what is really great too is the live music 5 days a week, and I’m talking 5 piece bands and really great singers, not your typical low standard resort music either. Some areas could use a little more or better cleaning like the yoga room and our site which unfortunately had dog poop on it when we got there.…
This is a mobile home resort park which accommodates RVers in their empty slots. RVers are placed at the back of the park far from restrooms and showers as well as pool area. We stayed under Passport America. the park is safe and well maintained. These reasons are why I gave the stay 3 out of 5. If you don't mind these issues then you'll enjoy your stay.
