It’s nothing fancy. Towels were new and old threadbare. Carpet needs to be replaced w laminate. It’s old and in disrepair. There were no biting bugs. The sheets were clean. It did get a little chilly and there was no heater. To get hot water leave the faucet on for the hot water to get there. If u want fancy go somewhere else & pay more. Or come here and don’t whine.
This is like a mom n pop establishment but not the place to be air conditioning didn’t work it’s 103’ degrees out here bugs are bitting everyone up it’s crazy!! Never again! We’re by a light n the bugs r on the prowl.
I agree with the review bellow. Don't come here unless you really have to. That was our situation since we didn't wanna drive any further after all day in the car. Other places were either full or super expensive. My friend and I are not picky at all but this place is beyond standard lodging. My message to the owners is "if you don't know how to run lodging in 21st century America then go back to India or what the heck you came from". Sorry its rude but are there any control mechanisms from government, city or county? Some sort of health permits to run place like that? Looks like nothing is in place of that sort because lodging like that should not exist at all and if so than for very good price, some people would like that. Hey, but for $75 for two beds and two people on Friday night? That is a crime!!! There is no need for details, just avoid this place unless there is no other way...…
I don't like to say bad things about small family establishments, but you... don't really want to stay here unless you're unusually desperate. This is based on my wife and my holiday season desperation stay a while ago when there was absolutely nothing else available in town. The sign out front says "Motel", but it's really more of an "extended stay" place--from the looks of it, most of the people there were living there, not staying as a motel, and the room we were in didn't appear to have been used for quite a while. The "office" was just a door into the family that ran the place's living area, which isn't surprising given the size. It's not fair to call it one of those horror stories where you slept in your shoes on the sheets gripping a tire iron or anything, but it's not somewhere I would ever actually recommend staying. The building was run down at the end of an abandoned-looking street, the room didn't look like anyone had been in there for weeks if not months, and the overall feel was "sketchy" for lack of a better word. I don't necessarily think you're going to get mugged if you stay here, I just would choose anywhere else available--even if it meant driving a while to get to Clearlake or somewhere else on I5--unless you were truly desperate.…
