My husband and I stayed one night here on our way from Florida to Georgia. I made the reservation on their website a couple of months ahead of our stay. I had a full price booking; it was not discounted in any way. The reservation did not show up on the Wyndham app; I called Wyndham Rewards and was told there was no problem with my reservation and that I would receive points for this stay...but apparently there was no way for this reservation to be added to the app. A later reservation I made did appear on the app. Since I couldn’t access my reservation on their app I don’t know if advance checkin and selecting my room is available at La Quinta. We arrived at the hotel at 3:20 pm on Saturday the 20th of July. I was told at checkin that the only room they had available for us was on the ground floor. I never want to stay on the ground floor as that means you have to close the blackout drapes to have any privacy at all...which makes the room unacceptably dark. I was told that this was the only room they had available for my full price reservation at twenty minutes past checkin time. If I wanted another room the only other room available in the whole hotel was an upgraded room with a kitchenette which would cost me another $50. I looked at the ground floor room and the idea of being in a room that dark for the rest of the day and night wasn’t acceptable so I paid for the upgrade. We went to our new room on the second floor. It did not have a kitchenette; it was a larger room with a sleep sofa. I won’t stay again at any hotel that doesn’t allow me to select my room in advance. A ground floor room doesn’t work for us. And I’m skeptical about the receptionist’s claim that our original room was the only one available at that early afternoon hour. Lastly, this hotel is new, but our room cost the same as the Embassy Suites down the road...and Hilton’s app allows advance checkin and digital keys.

I am a self-described hotel snob. I like staying in nice hotels and usually La Quinta isn't on my list of nice hotels, but I was pleasantly surprised that this location rose to meet most of my expectations. The location is right off 95, so super convenient if you are traveling and just stopping off to rest as we were. We checked in super late, but were warmly greeted and the check-in process was really quick. The room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was clean with enough room to move around. My only complaint about the room has to do with the shampoo and body wash products they provide. While they were good brand name products (Pantene), the sizes were so small I could not even wash half my hair. Very disappointing. The breakfast was meh at best with basic options - overcooked eggs, bacon and sausage, oatmeal, cereal, bagels. I was disappointed they did not offer any fresh fruit. Coffee was ok, but we found ourselves stopping soon after we left to get a proper cup of coffee. Overall they exceeded my expectations and I would definitely stay here if I need somewhere to stay while in this area in the future.

We actually had meant to stay across the street at the Best Western but arrived there to a room that reeked of smoke and had to find somewhere else to stay... this was so much nicer than the other room and for far less cost! Service was also excellent, would stay here again!

Management went over and above to meet our needs. Our room was handicap accessible, it met my needs extremely well and the location of the room was right by the elevator I did not have walk the whole hotel to get to my room. We normally stay in time shares or other large hotel chains. This was our first experience with a La Quinta and we were very impressed with the staff and the facility.
