I'm currently a first year seasonal here and have only been here 3 months. I'm a quiet person and tend to keep to myself. Almost every weekend we have been at the campground park security has been to our site to let us know someone has complained about something we've done. Constant petty nagging from other seasonals who have nothing better to do but complain, cry and stick their noses in other people's business. I feel like we are being singled out because we are new. There are clicks who sit around with the owner talking poorly about other campers. It's awful and just sad! People have actually complained to park security because we've accidentally called them by their wrong name and also complained about my sister who is 19 driving our golf cart but didn't look old enough. We bought our 6 year son an 8 inch electric boat to play with in the pond and better believe someone called parked security about that too even though there is nothing in the rule book about having a small boat in the water. Oh and please you better be super quiet at 11pm or you'll get in trouble for that too, it's pathetic! Yet those folks that are in the pocket of the owner can do as they please!! The park itself is rundown trashy trailer park that I will not be returning to!!

I was a seasonal camper starting in 1982 till 2000. I remember so many good times in that campground. They always have some kind of activities going for adults as well as for kids. Lots of fun to keep everyone busy and happy.

We had a great stay. The site we got wasn't what we initially intended as we have a very large trailer. However it was of no fault to the campground. Michigan had a ton of rain and flooded part of the campground so we couldn't go where they would normally place larger fifth wheels. The site we got instead was terrific also. Right beside the bond and playground. Close to the amenities and full hookups for our trailer (power, water, septic). We were very pleased. It's not too far from anywhere we intended to drive to (frankenmuth predominantly). We could have a fire too which is aways nice. They were decorating the campground for Halloween and were organizing a haunted house so anyone looking for a fun outing close to Halloween may have luck here. We would go back

The Site We are tent campers, we were the ONLY tent campers during our stay and the rest of the campground was full of campers and RVs. Our site in the first circle (right across from the pond) was appropriate for us tenters as well as a camper or RV. They allowed us to setup our site however we pleased, moving fire pits and the picnic table, keeping both of our vehicles on site. The ground was flat and even. No complaints! The Amenities My BFF and I, both ladies, take our kids camping together every year. We had a change of plans and wanted to find something in eastern Michigan instead. We found a goldmine! There's tons to do at the campground for everyone, especially kids. Our kids are pre-teens and teens, and loved it. In our 4 day stay they spent most of the time in the pond or catching fish. There were horseshoes, basketball, soccer, playgrounds, pedal bikes and rentals for the pond. We really would have NO reason to exit teh campground and wander the area, although if we did, Frankenmuth would be the direction we'd go! We were there on a theme weekend and got to experience campground karaoke in the pavilion. That was fun. I wished more adults would have gotten involved in it, and for the most part it was me singing and a ton of little kids. Still incredibly entertaining. Apparently they have a themed weekend the third weekend of each month. I'll keep that in mind when planning next year's trip. The Staff The staff and volunteers were so kind and helpful. Junior welcomed us when we arrived and showed us to our site. He was a wealth of knowledge and kindness. He stopped by numerous times throughout our 4 day stay. He was always looking out for us and helped to even keep our kids behaving, so that was quite welcome. At one point we ran out of ice in our coolers to keep our food preserved and didn't realize the office was closed. He offered to go and get ice from the office for us instead of having us drive off the grounds for some. Overall We've been camping all over the midwest and this is by far our most favorite of places. The pricing was incredibly reasonable. I'm glad we had to change our plans last minute and ended up here. This was our most relaxing camping experience ever. We'll be back!
