My two friends and I recently spent the night at the True Vine Cottage a few days ago. To say that this place is beautiful is an understatement. The home and grounds, the decorations, the lake were beautiful. It is also set far off of the highway, so it is quiet there as well. If a bike ride on the LongLeaf Trace is just a bit over a mile away, which is a huge asset. The first 20 to 30 minutes of our visit and exploring the Cottage were with our mouths open. It is stunningly charming. Georgianne, the owner, was very kind and great to talk to. I intend to visit True Vine Cottage many times.
This is truly a gift for anyone who is in need of quiet, peaceful rest and relaxation! Stocked fridge! Cozy and warm! Porches that you never want to leave! Not far from town if you want to go....but we didn't want to leave at all!
One of the nicest B&Bs I've ever stayed in. When you book True Vine you are booking an entire two-bedroom "cottage" which turned out to be even larger than my house! Every detail has been designed and decorated with loving care. With its beautiful wood floors and exceptionally high ceilings the feeling is one of spaciousness and warmth. Instead of fixing breakfast at a certain time the owner stocks the fridge so you can prepare what you want when you want it. She provided way more food than the two of us could consume in a week! We booked this cottage because it is just 1/2 mile from a major trailhead on the Longleaf Trace bicycle trail which we'd come to Hattiesburg to ride. However, the cottage was so comfortable and inviting we hated to leave. We especially loved the sun porch overlooking the pond and being able to listen to the geese fuss at each other. The landscaping and grounds are beautiful too. If you're used to king-sized beds True Vine's will seem small (there are a double and a queen), but the ambiance more than compensates. Be sure to spend some time examining the photos and various books placed around the cottage. You'll get a fascinating and humorous history of what it means to be "Southern".…
Min mann og jeg har bodd her to ganger.
