The cabin looked great from the outside and seemed ok inside until we started to settle in. Upon checking out the kitchen we found mouse feces and urine in all of the kitchen drawers and on the counter. There was a pot in the broiler that had a large nest made from the stove insulation. There was silverware in the dirty dish drainer. After we went and bought supplies we cleaned and disinfected all the floors, countertops, bathroom, stove and refrigerator. We realize this is a cabin in the woods, but it was apparent that it had not been cleaned properly for quite some time. With that being said, the cabin was quite comfortable and we enjoyed our stay and the quietness of the campground.
We stayed at this park while in town visiting family. The park hosts were very nice, true Southern Hospitality. The park is very quite. Our site had a cement pad, so very level. Would definitely recommend.
Other than being located next to an interstate, this campground is very nice! We were lucky and were able to get a rustic cabin at the last minute on a holiday weekend. There is so much for kids to do and the campground is kept very clean and was quiet.
