This campground was disappointing. Our reserved spot was taken so they told us to just find another one. The lawn was overgrown, of the two showers in the shower house, one didn’t work, and the door didn’t close properly. The garbage dumpster is at the hotel next door. You may want to keep driving and camp at Miles City if you’re looking for anything more than just a spot to pull into overnight.
There was trash all over the ground in our site, which I assume is because the nearest trash is the dumpster in the hotel parking lot. You have to check in at the hotel, which we found out by asking another camper because there is no signage.
This was day 7 of a 36 day vacation of 6,200+ miles. An overnight stay that came just in time. Huge storm was coming and we had reservations. Checked in at the big motel in front - no problem with registrations. We had a decent pull-thru with 50 amp power. Showers and restrooms were very clean. I would stay there again. $41.73 per night is a little steep for what you got, but being handy has a value, too.
Stopped here unexpectedly because we needed to have electricity to recharge batteries that had failed due to a fuse issue we didn't know about. This is a small, very unkept campground with absolutely no amenities! Thankfully the electric worked but the water tasted AWFUL! The grass was not cut and there was a junk yard/heap right in the midst of the campsites. Also, the bathhouse was inoperable, so no showers available. They asked when we checked in if we were self-contained bc bathrooms were not working but they did not specify that that included showers, yet we were still charged full price ($25)...definitely NOT worth that!! :(. We were VERY disappointed to not be able to get showers as our RV is very small and we try to do that at a campground when possible. They should have offered a reduced rate when their ONLY facility was not available for use! In fact, I may write them and ask for a partial refund. If we hadn't been desperate for electricity and a place to diagnose our fuse problem, we would NOT have stayed. Also a train treack nearby that woke us in the night. Only gave them 2 stars because the electricity did work. Would NEVER recommend and wouldn't go back. Stayed our first night in town in a small local park parking lot and it was free and much nicer!…
When we stayed the campground was overgrown, but the campsite was a large 50AMP full hookup pull-thru. It was not noisy. You check in at the motel and have to know it is here. We would stop again, since it works.
