I stayed there in mid October. and sure enough everything went wrong....only one elevator...ok...I can live with that....then one night there was afreak wind storm that knocked out the internet for 5 hours...including the TV....OK not their fault. But here's the real kicker...... water was on the blink....water started off hot, then as soon as I got in the went frigid cold...thought it was a one off, but the next final day there, no water at all. I wrote a nice letter to complain, and the manager...Ernst Gaston....apologized and offered some Bonvoy points. I was OK with that. It is now December 5th. I have still not seen those points....what's going on Ernst Gaston....what's going on?? The only good thing....the lady at the bar makes one hell of an old fashion, and the girl at the front desk was kind enough to lend me her personal umbrella so that I could go to the Panera for a bite to eat. Bottom line.....stay away....there are far better and cheaper hotels to stay in that area.

This is a delayed reviewed about my stay. I'm a Marriott member and love staying at their hotels, their Courtyard in on 130 is one of my favorites and when this hotel finally opened and I needed a hotel in the area I decided to try this one out. Being that it was new I knew there'd be a learning curve but and after seeing some of the newer reviews I see they still have some things to work out. When I got to the hotel, a few guests including myself were ready to check in only to be told there were no rooms ready, none, and it was past the check in time. Thankfully the agent took me first remembering that I was first in line and my room was a nice size and I liked the upgraded decor. However, the housekeeping could of been a bit better. One elevator was down which I see is still an issue months later and I found the food offerings to be lacking. The good thing is that it's located near restaurants and a Target. I hope that they take these reviews into serious consideration and make the necessary improvements.

My husband is a Lifetime Platinum Marriot member, so we have been staying in Marriot Properties for a long time now. We had an event nearby, so we booked the hotel for 2 nights. We are so disappointed with the hotel, that I’m writing this review while still staying here. For starters, as someone else already pointed, the locked back entrance is ridiculous, since this is where the parking is, so when you are just arriving with your car and your luggage, you would have to drag your stuff all around to the front, we were lucky in that regard that someone from personnel saw us and opened the door for us, but it’s still woefully impractical. As soon as you are directed to the room, you notice the flaws, only one (very slow) elevator working, inside it, smears on the wall from the crew still working to finish construction. The room is well appointed and new, but the exhaust fan in the bathroom never stops working, so it’s rather noisy. Weather was chilly so we turned on the heat, which doesn’t work properly, it heats up, but at some point cool air starts to come out, so you have to turn it off, and when the room cools, you gotta start over again. The sheets on the bed were not sparkling clean and when called to housekeeping to replace them, they never came, even after repeated calls. Water from the sink comes out in a weak stream and in the shower, it’s better but takes a while to heat up. All in all, while the building itself it’s rather up to par with other Courtyards in the US, the horrendous service and the many flaws make this one of the worst stays we ever had at a Marriot, and they are damaging the brand with this property. It obviously needed more time before they opened, and more investment in training and adding people to the workforce.

Updated Courtyard rooms and lobby design are modern and spacious. Unfortunately, execution at this property is a big miss. - Mirror that is the closet door was cracked through from right edge to left. Not a major deal this stay, since we did not have any little ones with us. But shouldn't be the case regardless. - Fire alarm went off twice (that we heard) during our 2 night stay; once was early Sunday morning. There was zero communication from hotel management about either alarm incident. - No hot water and weak water pressure in the shower - Bathroom faucet not properly attached to the sink - Poor housekeeping - One of the two elevators has been out of service for months This is pretty clearly a hotel where the management either doesn't care or is incompetent. Whichever, I will not stay here again, despite being Marriott Lifetime Titanium (regularly stay 50-80 nights per year for work) and the convenient location.

I’ve spent 80 nights in Marriott properties across the country in 2019 and this was by far the worst out of them all. I thought for sure that this would be a great stay due to the hotel being newer but they seemed to struggle with the basics here. Hot water - None to be had! Requested room type - Nope Two Elevators - Nope only one that is super slow Clean bathroom - Nah bleach stained walls and a crooked toilet seat You get the idea.... I was promised a call from management and never received one. Marriott should be embarrassed by this one and I won’t be back.
