If your wondering where to book..don't look any further. You can't ask for a more convenient, clean and picturesque unit. Brad and Wendy are there with u every step of the booking process and they have responsible people onsite to help with any issues (the tv was fixed in 30 min) Thanks Judison!
We couldn't have asked for a more amazing stay at Kreller's unit 254 in the Islander of the Beach complex! Everything from booking to checkout was top notch. Great communication from Brad and team throughout our entire booking process, including payment and check-in process. The unit was immaculate and the oceanfront view was absolutely incredible, especially at sunrise. The bed was very comfortable and location on the Eastern shore was perfect for exploring the entire island, which we did during our 5 night stay. We would highly recommend this unit and would love to return to this very spot should we ever return to Kauai!! Mahalo Krellers!!
Everything about this place was superb - great price; clean; well-maintained; good facilities; quiet; comfortable beds; centrally located for exploring the island. Best of all was the amazing view. Also, Brad Kreller was exceptionally helpful and a nice person to deal with. We hope to return one day!
So, overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. The price for everything was super reasonable. We booked on Orbitz and this was a special on there I believe. It can be a little confusing but Kreller’s are a few units within Aston Islander on the Beach. Same complex, but different ownership. The front desk is only good for handing you a parking pass but you’re on your own from there as far as they are concerned. The owners to our condo gave really good directions on how to check in and it was pretty smooth sailing. You get a toaster, microwave, two fridges and a mini freezer. They also provide you with silverware and plates and bowls. For the price we paid, we felt pretty spoiled. Islander on the Beach definitely has that resort feel to it with a private beach, pool, hot tub, and poolside bar. They also have two restaurants, a gear rental place, and a coffee shop. Right across the way is the Coconut marketplace which has a grocery store and tons of souvenir shops plus a small variety of eateries. You never have to leave if you don’t want to which is good and bad. One con is that the walls were a little thin so be prepared to know exactly when your upstairs neighbors are taking a shower. We could also hear people walking and talking outside. Also, the private beach is gorgeous but not the best place for swimming. I would definitely stay here again because it was a really pleasant experience. …
Tips : Location, location, location (My Darling says Netflix, Amazon Prime & the aircon ; ) Low : Aston Islander pool area was a bit small Dog Friendly : Not sure, but we did see alot of guests with dogs From the moment we booked #KrellersGetaway and had our first contact with Wendy and Brad we were super impressed. They are so warm, friendly and really helpful giving us all the info up front, advice on booking a rental car and a good luau. We stayed in room 323 which was a primo apartment – on the highest floor, on the end with a walkway to the beach directly in front which your private lanai overlooks. Unfortunately the ocean was always too choppy for swimming when we stayed, however the sun loungers under the trees (cocktail in hand) were heavenly. The condo is located in #AstonInterislander on the Beach and although you don’t have use of the concierge or other services you won’t miss it. You can however use the bbq area and pool which is on the small side but adequate, complete with a little tiki hut conveniently located next to it. You can sneak next door to the Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy and use their larger pool complete with more dramatic mini waterfall (great photo opp ; ) and bar. The only thing that would have made Krellers perfect is a few hammocks under palm trees but again, sneak next door and enjoy one of theirs ; ) We knew we were close to a supermarket and small shopping complex - but surprisingly everything you need is only a few steps away in Coconut Market Place! There is an Island Country Market store where you can get all your souvenirs (as we rarely found any locally made handicrafts, instead ‘made in Phillipines’ stock standard), booze, coffee from Island Gourmet and amazingly some of the freshest and tastiest food we tasted in Hawaii from the deli counter. Try their coconut shrimp! (And do not waste your money or time dining at nearby Lava Lava Club which is overpriced and terrible service. Although they do have awesome local artists performing so worth a sundowner while chilling to laid back sounds) The room itself was a little dated however was super clean and self-contained with a microwave, plates, utensils, coffee maker, great fridge to keep your cocktail mix icy cold and the fluffiest bath towels. Absolutely excellent value for the unreal location. Thank you Wendy and Brad for making us feel like we were coming ‘home’ – not just going on vacation. It was a little slice of paradise which was our own for the week : )…
