Just south of Macon of I-75. You can see it from the highway but have to take the Pia Nono exit off 75 and take several streets and turns to find the campground. If you have a Passport membership the sites were $20/night when we stayed there last year. The sites are pretty spacious and full hookups. They have a fishing pond and a big field to take hikes. The nearest grocery store is Piggly Wiggly and it's in a questionable area but go grocery shopping during daylight and you should be okay. The campground is peaceful and the entry is gated and has a code box but it's usually best if you get there before they lock the gates at night.
This was a nice overnight, basically a field. $40 would have been inconceivable for the site, but with our Passport America discount and the knowledge that the fee goes to a good cause, it was a good value.
