Well we have been expecting this review as in all my 40 years in the hotel industry I have never ever experienced such difficult gund I will not hold back as you have not done. You booked a superior room with sea view, you got a superior room with sea view and with two balconies one or which had sunbeds and table and chairs on it. Not only that you had a room which had been completely renovated this year! You complained that the air conditioning was over the bed so we adjusted the flow so it did not hit the bed and then you complained that it made a noise. You complained that you wanted the umbrella on the balcony opened and then you complained it made a noise so you wanted it closed. You complained the balcony was dirty when you arrived when in fact it was cleaned but unfortunately being next to a windy beach some sand had been blown onto it. In the end we just did not know what to do with you as we did not have another superior sea view room available so we offered you a suite. Then the s. You started moaning again that the oven and hob did not work which it did not as you had not paid for it, or for the suite but you did manage to use nearly every single plate and cup in the suite again something you had not paid for. Yes we did ask you about the brand new chair in your room that had been ruined by nail varnish remover but you said it was not you and we had to take your word for it although bearing in mind the state you left the suite in I do not know whether you were telling the truth. I just do not have the time or patience to answer all your negative comments but suffice to say that the clients who paid to move to your first room after you moved were so delighted with the room they have already booked it for next year. I think that says a lot. I know and love many Norwegian people and I do appreciate that we are not perfect but when you left the hotel every single member of staff breathed a big sigh of relief. To us you were our horror story.

Lite hyggelige og imøtekommende. Sur betjening i frokost sal. Dårlig vask av rommet og sjelden bytte av sengetøy. Rengjørings personalet startet med å banke på og lukke opp døren fra kl 0830😡😡😡. Kommer ikke tilbake

Dear Guests from beautiful Norway. We note your comments that the hotel room was comfortable. We note your comments which we presume is about the service in the restaurant and we have passed on your comments to the staff. We are surprised at your comments about the cleaning and linen change as we have a computerised system which notes all towel changes and linen changes. For your information towels are changed every day if you leave them in the shower not hanging up and sheets are changed every three days. I have informed the housekeeping of your comments but you should know that if you are unhappy with anything at all you should really report it to reception or the management so we can make your stay more comfortable. We are sad to here you will not be coming back as we have several Norwegian guests who have visited us regularly for the last 20 years. Hotel Agla

Dear Norwegian guests, We note that you thought the hotel was "spot on" but had some issues with the cleaning which we will investigate. The towels can be changed every day if you leave them in the shower but if you hand them up we presume you want to use them again. This is for ecological reasons as all the detergent goes straight into the sea and for that reason as well we do not use bleach in the hotel at all, only ecological products. The sheets are changed every three days not every day. The reason we could not give you the correct room on your arrival is hard to explain but it is because the tour operator you booked with had more arrivals than departures on that day, something we cannot control at all. Hotellrommene er rene og passe store. De ansatte er hyggelige og hjelpsomme. Frokosten har bra utvalg og de varierer hvilke varmretter de har. Veldig stille og rolig hotell, hørte ikke en eneste lyd fra naborommene. Hotellet ligger rett ved vind-stranden, og 10-15 minutters

My Dear Guests, Thank you for your absolutely wonderful review and we are so glad you liked our hotel. I have taken note of your two negative comments and I can assure you that action will be taken regarding them as they are very valid. We do put in all room a multi plug at the beginning of the year but sometimes the maids do not notice when they are missing. I just visited your beautiful country and stayed in Stockholm. I did find your hotels very expensive ( about 4 times the price of Rhodes) but the people were lovely, the streets clean and I hope I can go back to explore again. Have a good winter. Hotel Agla
