To celebrate my 7 years old daughters birthday in Panevezys, I booked the family room. which hotel said was the biggest room at the hotel. My family has been to this hotel several times during last 8-9 years. Things has not changed so much but I have to say this was the worst time of all! The room we got is on top floor and on corner with beautiful view to the lake and to the park. It is bright and has good space. The room is equipped with what it should be for us but for sure it should be renovated! Children bed were missing!! We informed the hotel that there will be 3 children, 3, 5 and 7 years old. When we came there were not prepared for 2 of our children and they promised us that it will be organized day after, which we accepted. Day after, today, we went to shopping and came back 4 hours later, at 15,30 and expected see children bed prepared. Hahaha....but there were no children bed, which was promised, and even worse was that there has been no one to clean our room...... You can see 4 stars...very clearly by the main gate when you drive into this hotel. We had to call them where we were asking for new towels, with 3 children we use alot of towels. They brought towels and went out. I mean they should have cleaned the room when they had the 2nd chance! In the morning we went to have breakfast at 07.00.....even it is Saturday, in a 4 star hotel there should be breakfast from 7.00 but no. We had to wait till 8. This was ok for us but it should be from 7.00 for those guests who like to wake up early no matter weekends or not! At 8 breakfast was prepared! Good! We saw the waiter 1 time when she put the last missing plate to the breakfast buffet, after that we did not see her at all before we were finished and on the way out. Very good service I would say!!! We with 3 children need some help during the breakfast but in this hotel with 4 star must think it is selfservice after they have presented the breakfast buffet. I think it is important that there are at least 1 waiter in the hall, taking care of guests during breakfast. Breakfast was good but not as good as it should be with 4 star, not at all! In the evening when we went down to have dinner, around 19,30, I was surprised since the same waiter as at the breafast 08.00.was serving us. This means that she has been working min. 12 hours when we started the dinner! Not good to see!! We wanted to have window table. Table was round and was big enough to 6 people but there were only 3 chairs and prepared for 3. All 12-14 tables were available except 1 table with 2 person by window. The male waiter which served me coffee around 12.00 suggested a table in the middle of hall which was prepared for 5. But we especially asked for table by window, and all they had to do was to add 2 chairs and prepair 2 more set with fork, knife and glas, which seemed to be too much for 2 waiters in empty restaurant. When I took 2 chairs and moved to the table then the male waiters reacted by putting glases, forkes and knives. The first comment from us to eachother when we saw the menu was, hello...it is more or less same menu as the first time we been in this hotel in 2006. We ordered 1 salat, 1 soup, 1 ravioli and 4 steaks. The waiter came with bread then I noticed that we were lacking side plates to 4 of us, there were only one side plate. I asked the male to give us side plates to all of us since I know with children we would need it. He said we would not need it!! And we did not get it during whole dinner.......LOL! We just had to smile!! Then I, who likes to have olive oil, some good salt and balsamico with bread, saw this on the table started to put these to the only side plate we had to dip the bread. I started with olive oil, this was so empty that I got out litteraly 2 drops of oil, so I asked for more oil. Then when I tried to put some salt, it was not possible to get out any salt since the salt corns were bigger than the holes. Anyhow I could not get out any salt!! So I got new salt on table! Later when I wanted to have black pepper on my steak, it showed that the pepper they had on table were not ordinary black pepper but an other type of pepper which gives very strong smell! I have seen this type pepper before in Lithuania but this was not black pepper which should have been on table. I asked for the normal black pepper and happily they had it and I got it. During the meal they, both of waiters, did not have any focus on following up guests during the meal. Even finished plates were not taken away on time. They should have very good time to take care of 3 tables when there were 2 waiters. And yes, we ordered 4 steak but got only 1 steak! She misunderstood us but we said 4, 2 times!! We couldn't nothing but laugh all the time.....it was like a big comedy being this hotel. What I have noticed in this hotel is that they have put some effort and values to decorate hotel and furnish the hotel....and yes, they might and maybe could present this hotel with 4 star(I would say 3) when you only see the physical part of hotel. But it is very clear that there are no management to run this hotel for sure. And specially for the workers in this hotel, I could see very clearly that there are totally lack of coaching, following ups and giving feedbacks to the hotels staff from the management. When you see the waiter working breakfast, lunch and dinner, 14 to 16 hours...who can blame her being slow and making mistakes. When there are so simple and basic things as side plates, salt, pepper are not filled on table(we were lucky, our table was the only table which had this set of salt, pepper and olive oil on table), it shows only there are no one who is following up the staff!! I will be staying on this hotel till tomorrow and it might be that we would come back to this hotel in future, but I would never ever recommend this hotel. From Panevezys 9th of May 2015!!

zeer slechte ervaring, rommelig, slecht eten, ontbijt waardeloos, als je de rekening niet goed controleert dan kan je er vanuit gaan dat je belazerd wordt.veel show voor totaal niets en veel ja veel te duur
