We stayed in one of the newly fitted suites. Positive: The interior is amazing, the views are breathtaking, the terrace is very spacious and well furnished, attention to all details. Negative: No TV, No safe, No coffee machine or amenities at all (although all our coffee was on the house and the staff were very helpful and stored our food items in the property chillers but it would be nicer for such a big suite to have its own facility for more freedom) Food orders were taking long time to be processed and delivered including coffee as number of staff is very limited so we suggest you place your order for food or even coffee one hour ahead of time. Although the staff is extremely nice, helpful and dynamic, it is worth it to invest in their skills and provide them some Food Safety and some customer service training and definitely some sort of uniform.…
Even before arriving, the hotel staff were helpful by contacting before hand and sending me all the direction I need via email. Arriving there you’re greeted with cheerful and helpful staff (most notably “Issa”) who will go all out to make your stay an excellent one. Went there twice, rented a room and the garden villa, they both exceeded expectations! For a taste of the local culture and history, the hotel is situated right in one of the old Deir Al Qamar neighborhoods; you’ll experience the traditional community but enjoy your privacy. One minor comment is a recommendation to install some form of heating option in the rooms, as it gets a bit chilly. Thank you, and coming back again for sure!
