We booked a cooking class and overnight stay with 3 other couples. Everything was AMAZING!!! The food was soooo good and the fact that we learned some great recipes was a bonus! The rooms are VERY nice as well as the entire house! Never been to South Africa but felt like we where. Thanks to the wonderful chefs that made our night memorable. Can’t wait until next time!!!
My husband and I joined friends for a private party that was held at Gordon and Elmari"s guest house.. We were really blown away by the beauty of the place. They built the lodge themselves with a deep attention to detail and filled it with African art. It would take a very long time to look at everything in there. Every bedroom suite is gorgeous with great beds and sitting areas and sports their own private bathrooms. Outdoor decks are around the house, really nice outdoor spaces, perfect for weddings and other events. They made our meal and the food was delicious. Fresh ingredients, everything done to perfection. Unique South African flavours. The Andersons were excellent hosts, making us all feel very welcome. They shared many fascinating and informative facts and stories about Africa. What a stellar time. I can't say enough about them or their facility and I HIGHLY recommend anyone to hold their event here or even for a group of friends to come stay and play for a weekend.…
